INTRODUCTION:
WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD? ... Have you ever heard this expression? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Some Christians have been saved for twenty, thirty, forty years and are still asking themselves this question! Churchology and traditionalism has not been satisfactory to this query. Some people have died and really never knew what the will of God was for their lives. This, my fellow Christian, is tragic!
Others have only partially fulfilled the will of God for their lives and Divine Assignment. Can a person actually KNOW the will of God? Yes, there is a place with God where you can say, "I know the will of God and I am walking in it."
Personally, I have known men and women who have been searching (according to their own words) for the will God for years. Many times I have heard them say, "Tommy, I want to know God's will. I just wish I knew what His will was for my life! I'm praying that He will show me His will!" Some will bring up this topic quite often.
Friend, set your mind and soul at ease. YOU CAN TRULY KNOW THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE! You do not have to worry, fret, beg, plead, scream, manipulate, or be in despair any longer. Read this book. The Will of God and you will never be the same in regards to the will of God for your life! God has a plan, purpose, Divine Assignment, pursuit, and His Will for you. You are not an island or hermit. You are a child of the Most High! You are the best product that heaven produces. God will do ANYTHING for YOU and your happiness (joy). You are the apple of His eye. Without Him we can not...without us He will not!
When you are in God’s will, be assured He will foot the bill. To know the will of God is to know excitement. His will for you will bring enthusiasm and energy. His will for you will bring love into every fiber of your body, soul, and spirit. You will be supernaturally blessed with abundance! Marvelous health will replace infirmities and disease in your body. Love, joy, peace, faith, and goodness will saturate your inner man and extend out to others. Don’t worry. Success will come easy as you walk in His will. God's commandments are not grievous (weighty, heavy, burdensome, or grave). God's will does not cause grief, suffering, or pain. The devil brings those kinds of things, not our Father God Who has loved us from the foundation of the world.
You are SPECIAL. God's will for you is ... For you to have total success and victory in every area of your life! That is His will for you!
First Words:
Many times I have missed the mark and sinned because I did not know and obey the will of God. Ignorance is no excuse. People die every day because of ignorance. God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hos.4:6). In the Old Testament times, even the well educated Israelites had a very difficult time keeping the 613 points (regulations) of the law. As a matter of fact, no one ever kept the law perfectly. Jesus is the only One Who has never sinned.
Nonetheless, today, you do not have to miss the mark. You can KNOW and OBEY the will of God. Jesus said, "For My yoke is EASY, and My burden is LIGHT" (Mt.11:30). The way of the transgressor is hard, not the Christian (Pr.13:15). Sinners are the ones that have a very difficult time. The Christian may be tempted, tried, and persecuted, but his life does not have to be difficult, oppressed, diseased, or powerless. You are made in the direct image of God your Father. You and He are one. He abides within. He is the greater One. You and God are a majority. Nothing is impossible unto you (Mt.17:20).
The Word says that you have mighty spiritual weapons. "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the PULLING DOWN of STRONG HOLDS; CASTING DOWN imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and BRINGS INTO CAPTIVITY every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor.10:4-5). We do not have to put up with the devil and all of his imps. Greater is Jesus that is in us than all the works of hell on this earth!
God's will is…for mankind to live in blissful unity, harmony, peace, love, and prosperity. He gave His very Best so that you and I could have the very Best! God's will is His Word. The will of God is the Word of God. Once you KNOW His Word, you will know the Way. Jesus said, "I am the Way..." (Jn.14:6). The Word, Will, and Way all work together in harmony and unity. Man has no excuse for not knowing the will of God. Man is born with the inward knowledge of a Supreme Being (Rom.1:20, 2:1). He knows in his heart that there is a God (Supreme Being). Thus, since there is a God, He must have a will and plan for our lives. God is never late, early, or wrong. I now present to you an exciting experience...The Will of God.
Chapter 1 ... BOTTOMLINE:
You are reading this book by the Divine appointment of the Holy Ghost. This is no accident. It is so important to know the will of God for your life. Some people (even Christians) live their whole lives outside the Will of God. You show me an individual outside the Will of God and I will show you one MISERABLE person. And this is tragic!
The last Will and Testament of Jesus Christ is the New Testament written during the first century A.D. The Testator Jesus Christ left us His last Will and Testament (Word and Covenant). Of course, for a testament to be valid, the testator must die. Did this in fact occur? Absolutely! Not only did He die, but He also went to hell and paid our total debt (to the claims of justice) for the whole universe. Then He rose again. Today, He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us as Christians and acts as the Mediator for the sinner. We are sinners saved by “His Grace”.
Jesus has been made the Surety (Guarantee) of the new and better Testament (will and covenant). He is also indeed the High Priest of this new will and Testament (Heb.2:17, 3:1, 4:15, 6:20). The Word (Will) of Jesus gives us our power and authority. Hell has no authority over us any longer. We have been set free by the power of the living Will of Jesus. God's Word (Will) now lives within us. The enemy has been stripped of all his power and authority. Jesus left the devil paralyzed in his own home (hell)...right in the devil’s living room. "And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, TRIUMPHING over them in it" (Col.2:15).
As you learn more about the Will, you will find out that the devil is just about ready to have a nervous breakdown. He is being bombarded on every side by the powerful saints of God. The Church is being restored to its finest hour. All things are being restored. Something BIG is about to happen!
What does the word "will" actually mean? Let us examine it closely. The following are some definitions of "will":
1. delight
2. desire
3. favor
4. pleasure
5. to bend
6. to please
7. to wish
8. to intend
9. choice
10. decree or command
11. a determination
12. strong and fixed purpose
13. disposition or attitude toward others
14. testament
15. a person's word, desire, or wishes
16. deliberate design
Actually, there are many more definitions of the word "will"; however, I believe you can get the drift of what I am trying to convey.
When you are in God's will, your heart will have great delight, pleasure, and a fixed desire to please God on a permanent basis. Divine favor will be granted to you. You will bend your ways to correspond with His ways. Your actions will be deliberate and in harmony with the New Testament teachings. You will obey the decrees and commands of the Word of God. You will be determined to make heaven your home! You will have a free choice to follow Jesus instead of being driven by the evil one to do things that you really know are sin.
Your attitude toward others will be one of love, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, grace, kindness, and giving. Your actions will stand behind your word. Your prime desire will be to please the Lord Jesus.
Now, if you have any problems in the above areas of your life, you need to reevaluate your life and walk with Jesus. I just have to believe that if you are in the total will of God, you will be at peace and rest with yourself, regardless of what others may think about you. The will of God is: for YOU to have total VICTORY in every area of your life and to be at “Peace” with yourself.
Jesus went to hell so that you could walk in the will of God without fear, doubt, or weakness. He also delivered you from hell. Because He went there and suffered the flames of torment, you do not have to go there. Because your debt has been paid in full by Jesus, you can walk in the power of God's will for your life. You are FREE!
Furthermore, the enemy is in real trouble because Jesus stripped him of all his authority and dominion over man. All power and glory have been restored to you through Jesus. Believe me, you can be in the will of God on a permanent basis.
Our desire and will should be to let God have more of us…until we are completely saturated by His Holy Spirit. We are either under the influence of God's Spirit or satan's spirit. The choice is ours. I thank God that you and I have made the right choice. Victory is eternally ours!
Meanwhile, when you are sold out to Jesus, the will of God will GROW on you. It will get stronger and stronger. And the more you submit to His will, the stronger the anointing will be upon your life. People will get healed as you pray and lay your hands on them. They will get delivered from alcohol and drugs. Their finances will begin to increase. As you walk in the will of God, His power and authority will be at your disposal to help others.
The BOTTOMLINE is simply this: The Will of God is God's Word and covenant (testament) that He has given to us. Even though there are two testaments (old and new), they both are significant for our Christian living. The Old Testament looked forward to the birth of the Messiah and the New Testament looks back to His birth, death, and resurrection. And every one looks ahead to what is coming because the BEST is yet to come. You haven't seen anything yet! We are going to rule and reign physically with our Lord Jesus Christ forever in His physical and material kingdom. Christ suffered so that mankind could be FREE indeed.
Christ carried out the Father's will. He DESTROYED the devil who HAD the power of death (Heb.2:14-15). Today, we have that same POWER (Lk.10:19, 1 Jn.4:17). Jesus arose. He is ALIVE. We are ALIVE. His resurrection power is surging through our bodies and inner beings. We will rule and reign physically with our Jesus in His material Kingdom. He will rule with a rod of iron and we will rule with Him forever.
What is the Bottomline? We as Believers must continue to know the Word and obey it. This is the WILL! The more we know about the Word of God, the easier our lives will be. Anything that kills, steals, or destroys our lives is NOT the will of God, but anything that gives us abundance and total victory is the WILL. The Church is beginning to obey the WILL and is becoming a holy terror to satan and his crowd. The devil is in the phone booth right now dialing 911... The Church is now on the offensive against the kingdom of darkness. Believers will continue to bombard the enemy's hideouts with the Word (Will) and Power of God. The threat has arrived and we are it. The enemy fears and trembles when he sees us obeying the instructions of the Father through Jesus Christ. The devil is about ready for another nervous breakdown or heart attack.
In brief, as you walk in His Will, you will see incredible things…good things happen in your life and those around you!
BOTTOMLINE: The Will of God is not too hard. Jesus did it. Peter did it. Paul did it. John did it. Early Christians did it. Charles Spurgeon did it. Billy Sunday did it. Billy Graham has done it. Mother Teresa did it. Jonathan Edwards did it. Martin Luther did it. And you can too! The enemy has no power over you except the power that you give to him. Let us choose to give him none. The choice is yours. Let us choose to obey God! God's will for your life is the Best that the Godhead has to offer. Jesus wants you to succeed more than you want to succeed. The choice is up to YOU!
Chapter 2 ... The Will:
From now on in this book, the will of God will be referred to simply as the Will. The Will is God's decrees, commands, and His Word. Let me reiterate something right now. His Will is not grievous. The Christian life is not burdensome. The Word says, "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments (Will): and His commandments (Will) are NOT grievous (weighty, heavy, grave, burdensome, painful, deplorable, or hard to bear)" (1 Jn.5:3).
Traditionalists, religious airheads, and lukewarm Christians will have you to believe that living for God and being in His will is absolutely HARD and most DIFFICULT. I am here to tell you that the Bible says the way of the transgressor (sinner) is hard (Pr.13:15). The Christian has it made compared to the sinner! Will the Christian ever have a bad day? Absolutely! Will the Christian meet with difficulties at times? Yes! But through it all, he will have a Savior, Friend, Guide, and Light right there with him…day and night…and when he dies, the Lord will meet him face to face in Heaven.
Some of you are thinking and saying that the Will is not easy for you. Then why don't you go talk to King Jesus and tell Him that He was wrong when He said, "Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find REST unto your souls. For My yoke is EASY, and My burden is LIGHT" (Mt.11:29-30).
When I was a child growing up in southern Florida, you were not too holy if you did not have a BURDEN and a solemn, sober, and pious face. Someone would say, "Boy, what you need is a BURDEN. You need to come down to the altar and pray and pray and get yourself a BURDEN."
Jesus was not saying that at all. His yolk was and is easy (useful, wholesome, good, clean, and not harsh). His burden is light (easy to be borne or carried).
During my childhood, some earnest and sincere Christians THOUGHT that hardness was holiness. The more burdened and harsh you were, the more holy you were! Fun was for the world, not the Christian! Can you see how squirrelly and un-Biblical this was? Thank God He overlooked my dumbness and had a sense of humor on my behalf. The Will grows on you. The Holy Spirit and God's agents (angels) are always at your side assisting you to carry out His Will. You have the POWER of God to complete your Divine Assignment on this earth. You are NEVER alone! You have a Divine Destiny…Heaven!
YOU are SPECIAL. YOU have the POWER of God within YOU to carry out the Will of God in your life. God gives you what you need to put you over in this life. He gives you good things and good gifts. God loves you so much!
YOU are made in the direct image of God. God has given you dominion over everything that creeps, crawls, swims, flies, or walks (Gen.1:28). You have the POWER and RIGHT to govern and control the circumstances around you. "Greater is He that is in YOU than he that is in the world" (1 Jn.4:4). You have more POWER within YOU than you will ever need. So use it.
In short, although we have been given everything in this life to put us over, we still must use what we have to fulfill the Will in our lives. The Word says to be strong in the Lord. You can be brave and courageous in Christ because you are equipped with gifts and POWER through the Holy Ghost. He has commissioned you to go forth and use His POWER to PULL DOWN the STRONGHOLDS of satan. The Will for the Christian is easy ... It is really not much of a fight when YOU KNOW that YOU have already won (Is.54:17, Eph.1:22-23).
When you are in the Will, mountains, strongholds, and fear have to bow when you say "Jesus". You are a MIGHTY conqueror. You are a MIGHTY victor and never the victim. Get EXCITED...you are in God's will. YOU are INDEED a WINNER!
You are a child of God and have absolutely NOTHING TO FEAR. Jesus lives the Will. You live the Will also. The Holy Spirit dominates your life. Love overshadows you. The Will has become a characteristic of your lifestyle. Loving and caring for others through Jesus has become your main ministry. Selfishness has been replaced by giving and hospitality. Goodness and mercy follow you everywhere you go. You go from glory to glory. Kingdom Living has become a way of life for you. The Will of Jesus has become your will!
"Delight thyself also in the Lord (Word/Will); and He shall give YOU the desires of your heart" (Ps.37:4). In other words, God is saying to you: Have pleasure, enjoyment, and gratification by doing My Will and I will give you the very desires of your heart.
This does not sound like a long, hard, rocky road to me. It sounds like God has made it easy for us if we will OBEY Him. His Will is easy! The devil is the one who has said, "Man, you know you cannot live a Christian life. It is too hard. God expects too much from you. Why live a dull boring life? What has God ever done for you? You have got to be stupid to waste your life trying to be a Christian! You are acting just like the dumb ass in which Balaam rode. Get a life!"
The devil is the STUPID one, not you. He will be in hell throughout all eternity. You will be in Heaven with Jesus!
You can truly delight in God's will for your life. David did. "I delight to do your will, O My God: yea, Thy law (Word/Will) is within my heart" (Ps.40:8). David knew His God. He knew the Will. He obeyed the Will. He had pleasure in doing God's will. And so can you!
Chapter 3 ... The Word:
In the past 25 years of teaching, I have been called a fundamentalist, maverick (nonconformist), revolutionary, bold face brass individual, and some other choice names that I will not mention. I am a fundamentalist (an individual who advocates returning to traditional principles). I believe in change...change of heart, change of mind, and change of character. I am a maverick. I take an independent stand and refuse to conform to the world's system. I refuse to be bound by religiosity and man made philosophy. Most certainly, I am indeed a revolutionary. So was Jesus!
Our forefathers were revolutionaries. They wanted change. They were tired of religious oppression and bondage. Many of them paid for this change with their lives. They were branded as heretics because of their unorthodox ideas and opinions. They did not care what man thought. They cared about what God thought. In their conscience and inner spirit, they wanted to be completely free to worship God in their own way. Hence, today, we have tremendous religious opportunities and freedom to worship our Lord and Savior without fear and retribution because of the blood of our forefathers. They were indeed radical and revolutionary.
The GREATEST Revolutionary lived on this earth 2000 years ago. His Name was Jesus. He wanted change. He wanted freedom for all mankind. He was radical. His teachings were astounding and absolutely life changing. He upset the religious sects. His radical views and ideas were indeed Truth, but the religious leaders “could not handle the truth” nor Him. Therefore, for them there was only one option…KILL HIM! This they did and said, “... His blood be on us and on our children” (Mt. 27:25).
Satan, the FOOL, thought he had our Jesus. He thought all of Christ's radical ideas would now die with Him. But he could NOT keep Jesus in the grave! Neither could he keep the Messiah's ideas from exploding. Jesus arose. HE AROSE from the grave. The schemes of the FOOL (satan) had failed AGAIN and they continue to FAIL until this very day!
The Word of God is real. The Word is true. Not one word of God will ever fail. His Word is His Will! Today, we have COMPLETE VICTORY over sin, death, disease, and the enemy through the Word. "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man (or woman) of God may be perfect (complete), thoroughly furnished unto ALL good works" (2 Tim.3:15-17).
"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword..." (Heb.4:12).
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." (Jn.1:1, 14).
"And He (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His Name is called The WORD of God" (Rev.19:13).
Jesus said, "If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye WILL, and it shall be DONE unto YOU" (Jn.15: 7).
I am here to tell you that if you want to be in God's total will, get full of the Word. Allow your whole being to be saturated with the Word of God. God's will is His Word. God's will and His Word both agree as one. Jesus is also called the Word; therefore, get yourself full of Jesus!
Jesus was and is the Word. He was an offence to many. "And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the Word (Logos), being disobedient..." (1 Pet.2:8).
The Word (Jesus) is the Divine Expression of the Father. It is impossible to be in the Will and not be in the Word. They both agree wholeheartedly.
In addition, you will learn just how dimwitted and stupid satan is as you learn more about God's Word. Lucifer the LOSER is certainly not as smart as some people may have thought. The enemy does not understand redemption because he is a fallen angel and angels cannot be redeemed. He does not understand regeneration, sanctification, new birth, repentance, conversion, or the gifts of the Holy Spirit. None of these theological terms compute in his tiny pea brain because they only apply to God's child who is seeking His will and Word.
Furthermore, as you learn more about His Word, you will KNOW that Jesus has given us…all the power that we will ever need to put us over. Through Christ, we have ALL POWER over the enemy. Nothing shall hurt us (Lk.10:19). We go forth without fear, weakness, inferiority, guilt, condemnation, or lack, KNOWING that our Elder Brother is indeed the Word to follow.
What He did, we go forth and do today (Jn.14:12). The world is hungry for the power and Spirit of the Living God to be demonstrated in their presence. As we obey the Word…signs, wonders, and miracles will follow us confirming the Will of the Father!
The Word says, "Submit ourselves to God; resist the devil, and he will FLEE from us" (Ja.4:7). We must submit ourselves to our loving Father Jehovah. Our fellowship must be in good standing with Him. We must resist (withstand) the dastardly devil. That means that we are not to give in to his temptations. The ignoramus FOOL will FLEE (take off like a scalded dog) from us. How do you resist him? You resist him just like Jesus did...through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Ghost.
As you obey the Will and Word of God, you will tear down the gates of hell and do grave and irreparable damage to the kingdom of darkness. Signs and wonders will follow you as you speak forth the Word of God. As you tear down the gates of hell, demons will screech and flee from you seven different ways because they know that they are in BIG trouble. They are DOOMED forever.
As you obey the Will and Word of God, you will march across the land possessing it for the Kingdom of God. The enemy will run and hide and try to stay out of your way. When you say “JESUS”, all hell trembles...every foul spirit shakes and quakes like a leaf on a tree in a 200 mile per hour wind. You cannot go under for going over. YOU are a WINNER!
The Will and Word will not fail you. Miracles are all around you just wanting to spring forth. God has been waiting on you to bring Heaven to earth...and you shall. You are in the same class as God. You are not God, but you are His child. His fresh Anointing is upon you. The times of refreshing have come to you.
God has made YOU SPECIAL. You are super extraordinary...no longer ordinary. There is nothing ordinary about you as a born again Believer. You use to be just an ordinary sinner, but NOW you are Heaven bound on the King's Highway dressed in the righteousness of God. Success is as natural to you as breathing. You now live in the realm of the supernatural.
Satan is indeed under your feet. Continue to exercise your authority over him. You are now a combat soldier in God’s Army.
The Names of God are super important. The Name of Jesus is vital to the Christian's power and authority. But David said, "...For Thou hast magnified Thy WORD above Thy Name" (Ps.138:2). Without the Name of Jesus, we are powerless, but God has placed His Word even above His names (to include the wonderful Name of Jesus). The Bible says, "...For I will hasten (watch over) My WORD to perform it" (Je.1:12).
Remember, to be in God's will is to be wrapped up in His Word (Jesus). To be in His Word is to be in the Will!
Chapter 4 ... The Way:
Thus far we have talked about the Will and the Word. We will now go to the Way. For you to completely KNOW what God is saying directly to you as His child, you need to also know something about the Way.
The word "way" is found in the Scriptures over 500 times. It simply means: a road, a course of life or action, mode of action, journey, a progress route, highway, path, method, destiny, what one desires, wishes, and wills.
Jesus said, "... I am the WAY, the Truth, and the Life..." (Jn.14:6). The writer of Hebrews also speaks of the "new and living Way" (Heb.9:8, 10:20).
Many Christians have said, "I have been in the Way for ten (twenty) years and I am still in the Way." And some of them I am sorry to say are in the way and not necessarily in the right Way of Jesus! There is a Bible believing Way (Jesus) for all Christians.
In the Book of Acts, the Way of Jesus is mentioned several times (Acts 9:2, 19:23, 22:4, 24:14, 22). "And the same time there arose no small stir about that Way" (Acts 19:23).
Paul even persecuted those people who were in the Way (Acts 9:2, 22:4). The Way (Jesus) was well known during the first and second centuries. The Way and the doctrines taught by Christ were upon the lips of every born again individual. Believers everywhere were excited about the Way.
Now, do you really want to KNOW the Way? The Psalmist has told you how! "Wherewithal shall a young man (anyone) cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to Thy Word...I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy WAYS...I will not forget Thy Word...I have chosen the Way of truth..." (Ps.119: 9, 15-16, 30).
The Way of God is found in His Word and in His Son Jesus! "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (way)" (Ps.119:105). The way of Jesus is a way of life. It is a life-style. It is a full time journey and method of living on a daily basis with Jesus as Lord of our lives. This Way demands holiness as His standard of living...nothing less!
This journey (way) with Jesus is filled with EXCITEMENT, joy, peace, faith, love, mercy, grace, and goodness. There is never a dull moment.
To travel this Way, you must be on the offensive all the time. You must KNOW the Word of God and how to use it. You learn never to apologize for the Holy Spirit (the One Who walks along side of you during this fantastic miracle journey). As you continue to make progress on this scenic route, you become more mature…and pity parties become a thing of the past. You learn to meditate in God's Word and invest in yourself by reading good books written by holy men and women of God. You walk your talk.
At the same time, the Way has placed you on the cutting edge. No longer can you sit around getting fat and lazy. The Way has also committed you to WAR with the kingdom of darkness. You are dressed and ready for warfare. The devils of hell fear and tremble when you mention the words "Way of Jesus". They fear and hate the Way. The whole universe KNOWS that Jesus is the Way!
Since the Way has become your lifestyle, you KNOW the enemy and his diabolical tactics. You are armed for battle!
The Way has made you successful. You have learned to be independent of circumstances. You NOW have faith in your own faith. A new self-respect has been developed in your spirit. Your own decisions with God and your Way of life have given you great confidence that you never knew existed before. You refuse to give up any ground once you have possessed it. You are tenacious and persistent. “Surrender, defeat, and compromise” have been erased from your vocabulary. Success is now your Way of living!
The Way also brings bigger and better things into your life. He brings cooperation, unity, and Divine order. Peace and harmony are certainly wrapped up in the Way. Doing the Will of the Father, acting on the Word, and being in the Way means doing Kingdom work NOW. We need to be about our Father's business getting people saved, healed, and filled with God’s power.
"...Quicken Thou me in Thy Way...I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Thy Word...Through Thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way" (Ps.119:37, 101, 104).
King Solomon said, "He...preserves the Way of His saints. My son...keep sound wisdom and discretion...then shalt thou walk in thy Way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble" (Pr.2:8, 21-23).
The Way (Jesus) brings good Christian integrity and character beyond reproach into your life. You will be alert and watchful. You will be aware of potholes along the pathway. You will use the God-given wisdom that the Way has brought. The Lord says that your feet are beautiful because you carry the good news of Peace to others. Your combat boots of peace will squash and quell any diabolical contingency of the devil. You will kick down some of the gates of hell and set captives and prisoners FREE. You are learning to be fearless because of the Way. Obedience to the Way brings a special anointing. You will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit will be manifested in your ministry. God has you and you have the Way (Jesus).
In like manner, as you walk in the Way, you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind through the Word of God. YOU will have a made-up mind to serve the Lord with ALL your heart, soul, spirit, and mind. You will not waver, vacillate, equivocate, waffle, hesitate, fluctuate, or oscillate.
Through the Way, you will make Biblical decisions that agree with the Word of God. While meditating in the Word, a transformation of your mind is constantly taking place. Your mind is a powerful tool and is too valuable to waste. Protect it well by knowing the Word, the Will, and the Way. Be alert! Stay alive! Be revived! Your security is in the Word, Will, and the Way (Jesus) and not in man, money, machines, might, or earthly goods. Never forget that your true safety is Jesus. He will never fail, leave, nor forsake you. He loves you and cares for you because He is your Way, Word, and Will!
Now, you are commissioned to go forth and teach, preach, lay hands on the sick, cast out devils, and do the very works of Christ. You are in the mighty Army of God! Mutual trust, confidence, loyalty, Christian pride, and professionalism must be developed and implemented as you travel the combat highway in God's Great Army. You must encourage and edify others to move together as one man with one purpose against one kingdom, the kingdom of DARKNESS. The Will and the Way must be accomplished!
As you have learned by now, the enemy has NO power today. He is NOT alive and well. He is a sick nincompoop that can only roar AS a lion. You are not fighting flesh and blood. You ARE FIGHTING the fight of faith against the devil, the FOOL of all FOOLS. But he is a DEFEATED FOE. Through the Word, Will, and Way, you go forth now and crush his ugly schemes? Do it! You have the power within you now…the Way!
Chapter 5 ... The Witness:
What is a witness? Is it not someone who can bear record, give evidence, testify to, and give testimony of the facts? A witness is someone who reports what he has seen and heard with his own eyes and ears. He bears record and gives testimony to substantiate his record of those facts. Jesus (the Word) is a Witness and God is a Witness (Jn.8:18). The Holy Ghost is a Witness (Heb.10:15). The Spirit, water, and blood are all Witnesses (1 Jn.5:8)! The works of Christ are a Witness to the reality of Jesus (Jn.5:36).
After the Holy Spirit (Third Person of the Trinity) comes upon you and you receive Him as your personal guide, friend, comforter, teacher, and House Guest, you too will be a Witness of the power of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8).
"For the Spirit itself bears Witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God...that we may be also glorified together" (Rom. 8:16-17). The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit. He confirms the Will and the Way. He solidifies what the Word says.
He reports, bears witness, and gives testimony to God's Will (Acts 20:23, 1 Jn.5:6).
You do not have to run around like some airhead or nincompoop, not knowing the Will of God for your life. God is your Witness. Jesus is your Witness. The Word is your Witness. The Holy Spirit is your Witness. Your spirit (the inner man) is your Witness!
I personally do NOT understand so-called mature Christians running around saying, "Tommy, I am waiting on a witness to tell me if it is okay to pay my tithes, get married, be healed, prosper, or attend church on Sunday morning." You do not need another witness when the Word has already given you instructions on these matters. What you do need is: some good old fashioned study in the Word of God. Many hours and days are lost because some Christians waste precious time waiting for a Witness when they already have one...the Word!
The same is true regarding prayer. Now, don't you religious whited sepulchers misinterpret what I am about to say! Prayer is wonderful. Prayer is communicating with God; but much time is being wasted in so-called prayer meetings and in long oratory words and phrases that are being called prayers. Anytime that your words and petitions do not line up with the Word (witness), you are "jaw jacking". All you are doing is jacking your jaws. If your jaws need exercising, well exercise them, but do not call it praying or intercessory prayer.
Some Christians that I know would do well to give their jaws a break once in awhile. Praying is a good thing; however, if you are praying about whether you should forgive someone or not, you are wasting your time and God's too. The Word has already given you the answer! Why pray when the Word has plainly given you the BEST answer possible? Do you KNOW why Christians pray a lot of times? It is because they are too LAZY to look up the answer in the Word of God! Now, do not go off half cocked and say that Tommy Franks is against praying. No! A thousand times NO! We all need prayer, especially me. But pray in harmony with the Scripture and you will truly see MIRACLES come to pass in your life. Indeed, the Holy Spirit is a Witness in our lives, but do not forget the Bible (the Word). It is also a solid foundation and faithful Witness.
The Father, Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost all agree as One. The Holy Spirit has a double job. He not only bears Witness in Heaven, but He also bears Witness on earth (1 Jn.5:7-8). Without Him we never would have come to Jesus.
The Will of God for you according to the Word is:
1. Preach (minister) the Word.
2. Save the sinner from hell.
3. Heal the sick, the lame, and oppressed.
4. Deliver the captives.
5. Open the eyes of the blind.
6. Open the ears of the deaf.
7. Set at liberty them that are bruised.
8. Pay your tithes and give abundantly in offerings.
9. Be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
10. Be victorious in every area of your life!
The Holy Spirit is your Witness on these matters. You have put the heat on the enemy and are now putting the squeeze on him. Things are getting extremely hot for him and his dastardly agents. The Witness (Spirit) is assisting you in allowing God to be God in your life. You are effectively carrying out His Commands. You are very much in control of your actions. The Will is crystal clear. The enemy cannot penetrate your offense. Satan gets smaller and smaller as your territory gets larger and larger.
You have read the Word. You have read the Will. The Holy Spirit gives evidence and bears record that the heat is on the enemy. He is in a heap of TROUBLE. The Church is in the ATTACK Position. The field of fire is clear. The defense barriers have been broken down. We CHARGE! We will win this fight! The enemy (the Chief) LOSER runs for his life!
The Witness is right by your side as you denounce the devil. You cast satan out in the Name of Jesus. You pray for the sick. You pray for miracles through Jesus. You are now in the driver's seat with the Witness as your faithful companion.
The Witness brings us good news. We TRIUMPH (have complete victory over satanic powers) in Christ (2 Cor.2:14). There is no way that we can lose this fight because Jesus is right by our side. The enemy is defeated!
The will of God for you is to be happy and filled with JOY! Living a true Christian life should be FUN. If you are not having fun as a Christian, then something is tragically wrong. You should be happy and filled with joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
The Witness will charge you up. In one of my previous books I said, "You should be CHARGED up like a dynamo with all kinds of energy just looking for a fight with the devil.”
If someone is sick, pray and believe that the disease will go. Sickness, disease, and sin all come from the original source…satan. If someone is hooked on drugs, pray and believe that he will be delivered. If someone is in poverty, teach him about God's prosperity and denounce the spirit of poverty over his life. It is FUN being ALIVE in this last generation. We get to be a part of the consummation of all things. There is no better time in history than NOW. Amen!
Thanks to Jesus, the enemy has been totally defeated, paralyzed, and rendered powerless. You have MORE POWER in you than all of the devil's power. You can do all things through Jesus Christ(Phil.4:13). Therefore, signs, wonders, and miracles will follow YOU!
You now have a taste for the power of God and you really feel good about yourself and what you are doing. You are having fun and the Holy Spirit is your faithful Witness as you carry out His Will. You are now in the driver's seat in full control of your life.
YOU are no longer on the defensive, but the offensive. You are dominating the circumstances around you. They are not dominating you. You are gaining ground and will never be a loser again. You are attacking the strong holds of the enemy. The Will, the Word, the Way, and the Witness have made you a winner in the Kingdom of God.
Pray this prayer with me:
"Father God, I am a winner. I choose to be a Christian in the center of God's will. I choose to obey the Word of God. I will follow the Way of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is my faithful Witness. With Him by my side, I cannot fail. I will strike the devil before he strikes me. I will defeat him with the Sword of the Spirit. I will cast out and curse diseases. They will die in the Name of Jesus. I will give to the poor and set the captives FREE. I will love. I will forgive. I will witness to the sinner and allow the anointing that is on me to convict his very heart. Father, I thank You for Who that You are and I thank You for who that I am, Your child. I am somebody. You have made me whole and complete in Jesus. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name. AMEN!"
Chapter 6 ... The War:
To live in the Will, the Word, and the Way, with a Witness takes a living combat, tactical, bold soldier who is not a wimp or a weak twit. You must KNOW warfare because the war is on. You must walk in and possess what legally and rightfully belongs to you! To be in the Will is to be on the cutting edge of the battlefield.
Jesus won the war of the Universe in the devil's own living room. The chief LOSER, the faint-hearted FOOL of FOOLS (satan), took the beating of his diabolical life!
Our salvation was not cheap. It cost Jesus His very life! Today, our freedom comes directly from the results of that WAR fought in the pits of hell. Our Commander-in-Chief of the Universe, Jesus, gave us back our legal authority and power. As bold revolutionaries, we are now on Divine Assignment with a heavenly mission to complete. We NOW have all power and authority OVER the ENEMY.
Jesus won the ultimate war 2000 years ago...the War of the Universe; yet ever since then, the enemy has been trying to lift up his ugly head. Jesus entered hell in humiliation amid intimidation, provocation, and accusation. The devil thought he had HIM. The little idiot imps and dastardly demons screamed, shrieked, and squealed with ecstasy, but this was short lived. They soon found out that they were fooling around with the KING, the true KING, the KING of kings. The KING (Jesus) won!
While Jesus was dying on that old rugged cross, the ignorant devils, imps, evil demons, and lucifer the LOSER started celebrating their feat...only to find out later they were doomed forever! They chanted His death prematurely. You talk about stupid...these old boys were STUPID! Their so-called victory was short lived. Through their ignorance and dumbness, they illegally carried the Son of God into the lowest pits of hell. This satisfied the claims of justice for the universe. A sinless Person had been carried to hell illegally. The only reason this was possible was because ALL the sins of the whole world were placed upon Jesus and He became sin for us, but He Himself had committed no sin! Therefore, they COULD NOT keep HIM there because He had committed no sin. Hell is for sinners…not righteous beings. Jesus came. He saw. He conquered!
All the Old Testament Saints looked on from Paradise (a compartment of hell). They were held captive in Paradise against their wills. In Paradise the saints did not suffer torment or the flames of hell, but they were literally prisoners of war. Some had been there for hundreds of years. Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, Rachel, Joseph, David, Ruth, and the list goes on and on...were just a few of the Old Testament Saints.
Some people think that the dastardly devil knows the Bible. Show me in the Word where the devil actually knows the Scripture. He does not truly know the Scriptures. The Word cannot be understood or comprehended by the natural (unspiritual) man and especially by any devil or demon. Scriptures are only spiritually discerned through the Holy Spirit (1 Cor.2:12-14). Do you think the Holy Spirit is going to teach the devil anything? He will never waste His time on that FOOL. Satan and his gang neither KNOW the Scriptures nor will ever understand the Scriptures. Their pea brain minds are too perverted to KNOW the Word of God!
Paul talked about the hidden wisdom of God, the wisdom of God in a mystery. If the devil was so smart, he never would have had our Lord Jesus Christ crucified. Now, instead of one Jesus, there are millions of little Jesus' (Christians) around the world. Paul said that the wisdom of this world and the wisdom of the princes of this world would come to naught (1 Cor.2:6). And that is a fact.
True wisdom comes from God. Meanwhile, all the devils of hell gathered around our Lord Jesus in the lowest pit of hell. They taunted Him and reproached Him. They laughed. They jumped. They ridiculed. They said, "We got You now. It took us 4000 years, but we did it. The world now belongs to us. You have lost it forever! No One can save You. You are doomed!"
For three days AND three nights, they celebrated their capture of the Son of God. All of Paradise looked on. They waited. They estimated. They anticipated. They were elated. Finally, after 72 hours they saw their Messiah attack the ugly dastardly devil, the wimp of wimps, the FOOL of FOOLS. The WAR was on. The battle raged. Hell was furious. Demons shrieked, imps screamed, and satan went crazy with fear. The little diabolical wicked imps ran, hid, and cried with mass confusion. Their hell hole had been invaded by the Chief Champion Winner, Jesus the Commander-in-Chief, who fought better than any modern day Rambo! The War was indeed turning into a fiery inferno. The flames grew higher and the noise grew louder. Noise, screaming, and confusion were everywhere. Jesus stood tall and moved deliberately with every step. At last, the TOP GUN of the Universe and Heaven had arrived...His Name was Jesus!
Meanwhile, Christ preached to the saints in Paradise and they accepted Him as their Messiah. Then He grabbed the coward (satan) by the throat and said, "Give Me those keys to death and hell. I am now legally taking them from you forever. In a few moments I am leaving this place and taking all My friends with Me. You will never see them in here again. Paradise will be emptied by My resurrection POWER. Devil, your little playhouse is rapidly turning into a hothouse on your head.”
"One day, I will meet you again. And when I do, it will be curtains for you. To hell with you, satan. Get out of My way, you demonized creature, I am out of here!"
That day in hell, Jesus made it possible for you and me to kick down the gates of illegal drugs, rape, murder, child abuse, abortion, divorce, adultery, euthanasia, infanticide, gambling, lotteries, alcoholism, fear, doubt, lethargy, AIDS, and every demonized activity.
Today, as you walk in the Will, you can be FEARLESS and BOLD as a lion. You can walk in there and COMMAND, "Gates fall like a bouncing ball. There will not be a brawl because I have made a call to the One that is tall Who gave Saul the overhaul and changed his name to Paul. Devil, you're going to squall like you have been shot with Pentothal. Get out of my way, lest I cut you up like coleslaw and pickle you in alcohol!"
Ain't this fun?
After Jesus won the War of the Universe, He arose from the grave along with all of those in Paradise. He stayed for another 40 days before ascending to the Father and sitting down at His right Hand. Jesus has done everything that He is ever going to do as far as our Salvation is concerned. The debt has been paid. He does not have to die again. Our sins have been erased. We are now FREE to walk in the Will. The major war is over. You are NOW God's ANOINTED child. You are SPECIAL. God is on your side. He is for YOU and not against you. You are redeemed. Satan has no authority or power over you. YOU are in the family of God.
You are a combat soldier and revolutionary in His Army. You are engaged in warfare. Sometimes the war is between your spirit and flesh, but the enemy is under YOUR feet. All you have to do is walk obediently in God’s Word and stay close to Jesus (the Way). The Holy Ghost (the Witness) will assist you to live in peace and harmony within the Kingdom of God. It is not much of a fight when you know that you have already won! We possess the gates of our enemy.
In brief, because Jesus won the war of the universe, you have the legal right to stand in the Father's presence without any sense of inferiority, sin, condemnation, unworthiness, or weakness. You have the SAME authority as Jesus. As Jesus kicked down the works of the enemy, you have the same ability working within you 24 hours a day, even in your sleep. You are fearless. You are invincible. You are MORE than a conqueror. When your name is mentioned, the devils scream, screech, and shriek because you and Jesus are one. Jesus is the Vine, you are the branch. Your name has become synonymous with Him. You NOW do the very works of Jesus. That scares the dying darkness out of satan and all of his gang. He goes crazy when he hears you pray or command anything in that Name--Jesus.
As a combat Christian Revolutionary, the doors or gates of hell will come down before you. As you do warfare in the enemy's territory, the captives will be liberated and set FREE. The gates of hell will NOT prevail against YOU, but YOU will PREVAIL AGAINST the GATES of HELL. This is a fact. Let me reiterate that again. The gates of hell will NOT prevail against YOU, but YOU will PREVAIL against the gates of hell! The game is OVER. The devil has lost! His power is gone. He is history! The battles have raged. The skirmishes have taken their tolls. The contingencies have been costly, but the great WAR of the Universe is OVER. It's OVER! Jesus is ALIVE and the devil is a FOOL that will spend ALL eternity in the lake of Fire!
And we will rule and reign with our Lover (Jesus) FOREVER!
The Will, the Word, the Way, the Witness, and the War...and next comes the the Wait!
Chapter 7 ... The Wait:
In this space age society of laser technology, electronics communications, megabyte computers, information age, and modern state of the art hi-tech improvements, no one wants to wait. Everyone is in a hurry. We have pre-packaged food that is microwave ready. We have fast food. We have instant tea, coffee, potatoes, milk, oatmeal, waffles, and hundreds of other instant items. No one wants to slow down. People are in a hurry to GO to CHURCH…to go home…to eat…to take a nap…to watch TV or a movie. People talk in a hurry…walk in a hurry. Fact: Speed kills. I was told as a child, "haste makes waste." Haste with God will kill your relationship with Him! Sometimes, He wants you to wait on His Presence.
What does the Bible say? "Yea, let none that wait on Thee be ashamed...on Thee do I wait all day long. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on Thee" (Ps.25:3, 5, 21).
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord" (Ps.27:14).
"Rest in the Lord, and wait PATIENTLY for Him...But those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, AND HE SHALL EXALT THEE to inherit the land..." (Ps.37:7, 9, 34).
"But they that WAIT upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and NOT be weary; and they shall walk, and NOT faint" (Is.40:31).
Being in the Will brings patience. Many times it means there is a waiting period. The wait is part of the Will! Waiting on God is never a waste unless He has already told you to move out. David said, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry" (Ps.40:1). Some Christians try to rush God.
Some say, "If you don't hurry up, God, I am going ahead and doing my thing! I can't wait forever, You know. I don't have all day. After all, I have got to do something."
Do you recall what happened to Saul, Israel's first king? He got impatient and disobeyed God. He acted FOOLISHLY. He did not wait on the Lord! Saul said, "...I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering" (1 Sam.13:12). He was their king, not their priest. He was supposed to wait on the priest (Samuel) to meet him at Gilgal, but Saul did not wait. Because he took matters into his own hands and committed this grave error (sin), the kingdom was given to David (1 Sam. 13:13).
The Will, the Way, and the Word come with patience...much patience. "...then do we with patience wait for it...Let us WAIT on our ministering" (Rom.8:25, 12:7).
The hardest thing you will ever do in your Christian ministry is wait. Why? Because no one likes tribulation...We do not like tribulation. What brings forth patience? That is right. Tribulation brings forth patience (Rom.5:3).
When you were ten years old, you were too young to drive a car, but you sure wanted to drive Dad's car, didn't you? I know I did, but I was simply too young. I HAD to WAIT!
Later, when I had reached the ripe old age of 16, I wanted to get a good job paying lots of money…so that I could buy all kinds of nice things. Did that happen? No! I had to wait! Sure, I got a job all right (75 cents an hour), but that job did not buy very many things. I had to wait!
Some people get saved and right away they want to start an international ministry. Have patience. Get into the Word. Study to show yourself approved unto God (2 Tim.2:15). Patience will bring experience and experience will bring hope (the blueprint of faith). With much patience and faith, your ministry will grow and be established upon the Rock, Jesus. Waiting on God is not a waste! It is a must! God never gets in a hurry because He has all eternity on His side. He does not have to wear a watch. Time is meaningless to Him.
Great victories come from great patience! The Will of God takes patience. The Psalmist said, "I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in His Word do I hope" (Ps.130:5).
During my younger years, impatience cost me thousands of dollars and much heartache in my life. Therefore, I had a lot of tribulation brought about because of my own ignorance and undisciplined lifestyle. Over the past 35 years or so, I have learned a little bit about waiting on the Lord. The Will, the Word, and the Way often mean "the wait". Times will come in your life when God will simply say, "Wait, My sweet child, wait. I will see you through. Victory is on the way, but right now, I want you to wait."
The Champion WINNER, Jesus, also found this out. He had to wait for thirty-three years to die on the cross and fulfill the Will of the Father. But afterwards, He felt pretty good when He defeated the devil in the pits of hell. He became aggressive and violent in the devil's territory. He seized the keys of death and hell from satan. The wait was worth it! He arose from the tomb as the CHAMPION WINNER.
You and I as combat soldiers do not follow the crowd. We must be patient and take an independent stand that does not go along with modern tradition. Modern tradition says that miracles and healings are over, but through our patience, we possess souls and miracles for the Kingdom. We command diseases to leave and they leave. We refuse to conform to this world. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. We refuse to be bound. Religious demons have tried unsuccessfully to bind us up and make us agree with them and PLAY church, but we have refused vehemently. We waited and the Will of God was done!
Jesus has made us Winners. We are part God, not God ... but part God! We have Divine status. We are bone of His Bone...flesh of His Flesh...body of His Body, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son has erased our sins and cleansed us from all unrighteousness.
David said, "I have run through a troop...I have leaped over a wall. The Lord is my strength and power...He makes my feet like hind's feet: and sets me upon high places" (2 Sam.22:30, 33-34).
The Word says, "...Be strong in the Lord, and in the POWER of His might" (Eph.6:10).
"For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in POWER" (1 Cor.4:20).
"Behold I give unto YOU POWER..." (Lk.10:19).
When you walk in the Will, the Word, and the Way, God always finds you "not guilty" of the charges that satan might bring against you.
That is what I like about being a son in the Family of God. You see, my Father is also the Judge. When the spirit of darkness, the sneaky persecutor (satan), brings a phony trumped-up charge against me, my Advocate and Lawyer, Jesus, goes into practice and litigates my case before the Father and the universe. The Father and Son are a GOOD TEAM that has been working close together for years. I just love to watch them in action.
Sitting on the Bench is my Father and sitting with me is my Brother. It is truly a Family Affair. The IGNORAMOUS FOOL (satan) does not stand a chance. And so far, over the past several thousand years, My Father and Brother have not lost a case. And all this time, someone thought that Perry Mason had the best record!
We are so fortunate to have Our Father as Our Judge Who always finds us not guilty through the blood of Jesus. The Champion Winner (Attorney Jesus), shares with us all His POWER, wealth, PRESTIGE, and influence. He LOVES us so much! He gives us GOOD gifts. He protects us. He says GOOD things about us to the Father and They both smile with approval. We are the apple of God's eye. We are Heaven's BEST product. We must be willing to wait. God has waited on the Church for over 2000 years. Look how long He has waited for us to do His perfect Will. "...For the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for Him" (Is.30:18). Waiting is not easy, but let us do it and see the salvation of the Lord! The Word says, "Be still, and KNOW that I am God..." (Ps.46:10).
Chapter 8 ... The Walk:
"...I am the Almighty God; WALK before Me, and be thou perfect (complete)" (Gen.17:1). "...No good thing will He withhold from them (you and me) that WALK uprightly" (Ps.84:11).
"Though I WALK in the midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me...The Lord will perfect that which concerns me..." (Ps.138: 7-8).
"Then spoke Jesus...I am the Light of the world: he that follows Me shall not WALK in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life" (Jn.8:12).
"There is therefore NOW no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who WALK not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" (Rom.8:1).
"For we WALK by faith, not by sight" (2 Cor.5:7).
"And WALK in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us..." (Eph.5:2).
How should we then walk? The Will of God is for us to walk in His Spirit by faith through love. Love never fails. His Spirit never fails us. The Will (Word) never fails, not one word of it! The Word says, "...Hereby KNOW we that we are in Him. He that…abides in Him ought himself also so to WALK, even as He walked" (1 Jn.2:5-6). We are to WALK as Jesus walked!
Some traditionalists may get pretty religious on me in this chapter, but I must tell you…the FOOL of FOOLS would like to devour you and sift you as wheat.
Some religious people do not want me to talk about the WALK. They say it gets too complicated. They had rather play church than be the Church! They had rather talk a good show without any action. Some people say that talk is cheap. I am here to tell you that talk can be rather expensive if your faith and words do not line up with the Word. If you talk doubt, the enemy will destroy you! Talk is not cheap! The wrong kind of talk will KILL you. Jesus did more than talk. He was a Man of action. The mission of Jesus as the Chief Revolutionary and Champion Winner was to erase, tear down, demolish, and destroy the works of the diabolical LOSER.
Jesus hates demons, sickness, and disease with a Godly passion; therefore, He healed ALL that were oppressed of the devil. He chased devils out of the temple. He cast demons out of the deaf, dumb, and demoniacs. He raised the dead because death is an enemy to God. He gave food to the hungry. He comforted the brokenhearted and liberated the captive. He became a living terror to the devil's playpen and sandbox. JESUS was and is a devil CHASER. He indeed walked His talk, so should you and I. We are to imitate HIM!
Jesus whipped up on the devil in Hell and utterly destroyed his power and kingdom and rendered him paralyzed and defeated. If satan's brains were gasoline, he would not have enough for a red ant's motorcycle to drive around a B B. Right now, he is in some phone booth trying to dial 911. He is in BIG trouble and he knows it!
Today, YOU and I have taken Jesus' place on this earth. NOW we are the ones that must WALK our talk and kick old sluefoot around and ensure that he continues to lose in our neighborhood. We heal and minister in the wonderful Name of Jesus. We preach to sinners and make them WINNERS. The enemy hates this because he wants to keep everyone a loser like himself. Misery loves company. He does not want to be alone in hell.
The enemy cannot hinder your WALK with God. Neither can he hinder God's Church, if we will do the works of Jesus. The devil could not kill Jesus. He cannot kill the Church. He has no power over the Son of God. He has no power over the Church unless we give him power. Let us choose to give him none. If you really want to WALK on the devil's head, speak faith and not doubt. Demons will come out of the woodwork.
Jesus said that it is the Father's GOOD PLEASURE to give us the kingdom (Lk.12:32). He told us that we could have what we say and desire. He even got real BOLD and said that we would do greater works than He had done. He said that we would inherit the earth and be called the children of God. Our Lord called us the SALT of the earth and LIGHT of the world. He gave us a positive mental, spiritual, and physical attitude. No longer are we inferior. Jesus gave us back our dignity, self-esteem, and righteousness (right standing with God). He gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort us at all times.
God loves us so much. He ransomed and redeemed us from the weasel-face prince of darkness. Oh, the mercy of the Lord is so great and everlasting! He set us FREE indeed!
Many cities are building bigger and better stadiums to host their favorite sports teams such as professional football or baseball teams. I believe this: Soon, these stadiums will be filled with people that are hungry for the Word of God. Evangelistic services, healing services, and special Christian services will be held in these stadiums. Forty, fifty, sixty, seventy-five thousand or more people will come together for prayer, worship, forgiveness, preaching, and healing. The Name of Jesus will be brought forth to this last generation.
Many instruments that the doomed devil has used in the past for his crowds will be used to propagate the Good News. The goods of the wicked are laid up for the just (That's us.). Many of the T.V. and Radio Stations are ringing out the Gospel NOW. Many newspaper companies will be owned and operated by Christians. Thousands of print shops all over the world will print Christian materials and Scriptures on a much larger and dynamic scale. Everything that the Word-oriented Christian touches will turn to success (gold). Everything that the champion LOSER tries to touch will backfire on him and work against him. The whole kingdom of darkness is blowing up in the devil's face. Let us continue to WALK with Jesus!
Today, we are kings and priests. One day we will have our crowns and thrones that Jesus has prepared for us. Are you as excited as I am? Today is the greatest time to be living and the best is yet to come! Thank YOU Jesus!
Jesus is still on the throne saying, "I am your Lord. Do NOT fear. I am with you. Be not afraid. The battle is not yours, but Mine. Cast ALL your cares, anxieties, and reservations upon Me. I am God and will smite and destroy the enemy before your face. Be obedient and you shall eat the fat of the land. No good thing will I withhold from YOU, MY CHILD.”
"Yes, I am Jesus Who still erases darkness and sin from this world. I still destroy disease, sickness, and pain throughout the earth. As I RAZED hell 2000 years ago, you go forth now and do the same. The victory is yours today!"
The CHAMPION WINNER, Jesus the Righteous, loves you with every fiber and tissue of His holy Body. He walks with you and talks with you every step of the WAY. "And this is love…that we WALK after His commandments (Word)..." (2 Jn.6).
How should we then WALK? Learn the Will of God. Get into the Word of God. Go with Jesus the Way. Receive the Witness of the Holy Ghost and BE a Witness of the Gospel. Know that a war is going on with your flesh against your spirit. But also KNOW that the big WAR was won by our elder Brother 2000 years ago.
Sometimes, you may have to be patient and WAIT on the Lord. He is never late or early. Finally, you simply WALK your talk and do the Will with the ability that God has given you! You will indeed be happy and blessed if you WALK in the counsel of the Godly, stand in the Way with Christians, and sit in the seat of the Righteous One, Jesus! How can you lose? Amos put it this way, "Can two WALK together, except they be agreed" (Am.3:3)? Agree quickly with the Father and He will put you over in the game of life and through all eternity!
Chapter 9 ... The Watch:
"But WATCH thou in ALL things..." (2 Tim.4:5).
"...Be ye therefore sober, and WATCH unto prayer" (1 Pet.4:7).
"WATCH ye, stand fast in the faith...be strong" (1 Cor.16: 13).
"WATCH ye therefore, and pray always..." (Lk.21:36).
The word "watch" means to: guard, keep safe, preserve, keep awake, be vigilant, obey, be alert, protect, be ready.
"...But ALL the people shall keep the WATCH of the Lord" (2 Chron.23:6).
David said, "Set a WATCH, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips" (Ps.141:3).
Jesus said, "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, WATCH and pray...lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto ALL, WATCH" (Mk.13:32-37).
Another place, Jesus said, "Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He cometh shall find WATCHING..." (Lk.12:37).
Part of being in the Will of God is having a watch over our mouths, eyes, and ears. We must guard what we say, see, and hear. This is vital for the anointing to be upon our lives. Our ears must hear the Word of God and not the lies or opinions of the world. Our eyes must be filled with the glory of God and His holy Way. Our mouths must be filled with and we must speak the oracles of God.
The WATCH is on. We are on guard. The Sword is in our hand. We are dressed for war. We are warriors in a combat zone against all hell!
We are dressed for warfare in our armor (combat boots of the Gospel of Peace, belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit). We look like Jesus. "And these signs shall follow them that BELIEVE; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...they shall lay hands on the sick, AND THEY SHALL RECOVER" (Mk.16:17-18).
Jesus again said, "He that BELIEVES on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do..." (Jn.14:12).
Jesus came to destroy sin, sickness, disease, darkness, fear, hate, greed, murder, drug addiction, adultery, death, demon possession, and anything that would hinder us from being totally FREE and WHOLE. Jesus Christ healed them ALL. He delivered them ALL.
Jesus was ANOINTED. YOU are ANOINTED. You are dressed for WAR. You are equipped to do the same works that Jesus did. You are part of the Body of Christ and the great Family of God. If Jesus did it, YOU can do it. Nothing is impossible to YOU. "But YOU shall receive POWER (authority) after the Holy Ghost is come upon YOU..." (Acts 1:8). Jesus also said, "Behold, I give unto YOU Power to tread on serpents (devils) and scorpions (demons and imps), and over ALL the power of the enemy (satan the STUPID): and NOTHING (disease, sickness, infirmities, poverty, oppression, inferiority, spiritual death, sin, mental disorders, and weakness) shall by any means hurt YOU" (Lk.10:19). NOTHING SHALL HURT YOU!
Paul said that our weapons are "mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the OBEDIENCE of Christ" (2 Cor.10:4-5).
Your suit of armor will protect you from the works of the devil. You are well dressed for any occasion, especially against disease, murder, hate, rape, and sorcery. They all come from the pits of hell through the direction of satan. It is our job to destroy (RAZE) these works born in hell. Dressed for battle, you can RAZE hell and set the captives FREE!
In my book “Sweet Anointing”, I said, "The Sweet Anointing gives YOU the God given right to rule, govern, control, stamp on the devil's head, and have dominion over every circumstance of life...YOU are a combat soldier in the Lord's Army. The Sweet Anointing gives YOU the right to RAZE (destroy) hell."
YOU were born for such a time as this. In the past, the world laughed at the Church. They mocked the Church. They persecuted the Church. Now their shenanigans are very rapidly coming to a close. The most powerful force on this earth…the Church…is NOW becoming the brightest and most respected influence in world affairs. People are once again giving proper respect to the Church. Thank God!
Additionally, in another book, I said, "God is resurrecting the Church to be His mighty Army across this land. God's combat revolutionaries are beginning to walk in the realm of the miraculous (signs and wonders). You are a soldier in God’s Army! YOU are living in your FINEST hour...invading the impossible and doing things that most people and wimps only dream about. YOU are destined for GREATNESS. YOU are a WINNER in the war zone. If God be for YOU, who would be so stupid as to come against you? YOU are NOW in God's class. How SWEET it is!"
Walk tall. Be tall. Live your talk. Talk right for victory. Talk healing, health, prosperity, miracles, deliverance, faithfulness, and love. Speak the very oracles of God. You have more POWER locked up within you than you will ever need or use. The Greater One lives within. He will put you over. Go forth in courage and be fearless as the Lion you serve. He will never fail you. Thank God for Jesus Christ!
The Bible says, "For behold, I have made you THIS DAY a fortified city and an iron pillow, and bronze walls AGAINST the whole land" (Jer.1:18). Dressed for war, you are a fortified city and God is on your side. No hostile power can overtake you. You are strong in the Lord and the power of His Might.
Today, we are in the Lord's Army. We erase sickness which comes from the devil. We pray for people of disease and see them healed. God does not put sickness or disease upon people. That’s what the enemy does. God is a GOOD God. He is a God of health, not sickness. There is no sickness in heaven. Hell has sickness, disease, corruption, affliction, and infirmities. When hell attempts to deliver these packages to us, we say, "No, you don't, devil...No, you don't. We refuse to accept your ugly deceptions, symptoms, and diseases. We refuse to accept YOUR C. O. D. packages. We do not have to put up with your foolishness. We cast you back to the abyss in Jesus' Name."
To be in the Will, the Word, and the Way, the WATCH is so important.
We guard (WATCH) our words because the enemy also has ears. We guard our ears as well because the enemy spreads propaganda that is full of lies. If we accept his deception, WE are in BIG TROUBLE.
We guard (WATCH) our eyes. Watch (be vigilant) what you see. Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will see you through. We guard (WATCH) our touch. Watch what you touch. Paul said, "...Touch not the UNCLEAN thing" (2 Cor.6:17). Thanks be to God Who has given us the VICTORY. Sin, sickness, disease, hunger, and the curse have been done away with by our Lord Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. All we need to do is WALK in that VICTORY. Because He lives, we live.
Fight the good fight of faith and you will have success. Dress for success and you will win the fight through Jesus Christ. Your success is determined by you. You were made for success, but your destiny is in your hands. You can choose life or choose death. You can choose prosperity or poverty. You can choose to WATCH or close your eyes and walk in darkness. Success is indeed your choice! Signs, wonders, and miracles will follow you as you minister and WALK in the Word. The fresh oil and wine from heaven are being poured out upon you to allow you to use your gifts and talents which have been manifested through the Holy Spirit. The Sweet Anointing is upon your life. YOU were indeed BORN for this hour! Jesus is on your side. He is for you…not against you.
WATCH and be ready always for the trials, temptations, persecutions, and contingencies that will come your way in the game of life. Just as an astronaut is prepared and ready for a particular environment, you are ready in the Spiritual realm. You are not fighting flesh and blood, but principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places, and rulers of darkness. WATCH and be ready. You will win the battle. This is what I truly call "The Watch".
Chapter 10 ... The Wise:
Wise men and women still follow Jesus! To be wise is to be prudent, discreet, informed, knowledgeable, judicious, and having good sound judgment in the matters of Spiritual things as well as material things.
"Whoso is WISE, and will observe these things (of God), even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the Lord" (Ps.107:43).
"A WISE man will hear, and...Attain WISE counsels" (Pr.1:5).
"The WISE shall inherit glory..." (Pr.3:35).
"Hear instruction (the Word), and be WISE, and refuse it not" (Pr.8:33).
"...A WISE son makes a glad father...The WISE in heart will receive commandments (the Word)...WISE men (and women) lay up knowledge...In the multitude of words, sin is not lacking…sin is prevalent: but he that refrains his lips is WISE" (Pr.10:1, 8, 14, 19).
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is WISE" (Pr.11:30).
"And they that be WISE shall shine as the brightness of the firmament..." (Dan.12:3).
James asked, "Who is a WISE man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom" (Ja.3:13).
A WISE Christian will bridle his tongue. He will have knowledge of the Word. He will KNOW the Way. He will be in the center of the Will. His conduct and moral behavior will line up with the Word and bear Witness to holiness and sanctification. He will be kind and gentle and not overbearing with pride. His heart will be filled with love and hospitality to others. He will not be bitter or filled with envy, strife, or confusion. He will seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness!
"...The tongue of the WISE is health" (Pr.12:18). Do you really want to live in under Divine protection? Watch (guard) your tongue and LIVE. If you talk sickness and disease all the time, you will be sick. Positive words bring forth positive results. Doubt breeds doubt. Faith breeds faith! A WISE man will speak forth the answer and not the problem. The Answer is Jesus!
Today, it is our God given right as wise men to walk on the face of the enemy and cast him out of our way. Our responsibility and part of the great commission is to cast out devils. Slewfoot, the degenerate ignoramus, has lost control of you and your family because you are no longer ignorant of his devices. YOU have become a holy terror to him and his imps. The WISE have NOW become the terrorists and the aggressors against the kingdom of darkness. The threat has arrived...and you are it. The weasel face devil is the disease and you are the CURE through Jesus. The enemy FEARS and TREMBLES when he sees a WISE combat soldier wearing the armor of God. He goes absolutely ape!
Today's Believer is getting WISE! He is no longer the dummy that the world has called him. Ignorance has been replaced by the Word of God. He is no longer destroyed by a lack of knowledge. The WISE Believer wants some answers. He is searching the Scriptures for those answers. He now demands some substance to the preaching and teaching that he hears. He is tired of being sick and tired. The WISE man refuses to continue in poverty. He is too smart to go backwards. He is tired of the namby-pamby games being played in the Church.
Wishy-washy poppycockology from traditionalists is being replaced by the TRUTH...God's Word. The WISE Christian is becoming a spiritual GIANT. The WISE Believer has become a serious threat and danger to lucifer the LOSER. Today, instead of the Righteous getting chased by some demon, he has become a first class demon chaser. The Body of Christ has become a mighty dynamic force… filled with God's ability, WISDOM, power, glory, honor, and majesty. The Church is on the move!
Contrary to popular belief, the WISE are a MATCH for the devil. The enemy does not stand a ghost of a chance against you. If his brains were dynamite, he would not have enough to blow his nose.
Today, satan the LOSER is still trying to come against the WISE men of God, but he is totally defeated! Take YOUR place as a son or daughter of God. Take your place in the Kingdom of God. Take your place in God’s Army. Take your place in the WISDOM of God. Take your place now. Command the devil to take his hands off you and your property.
Pray this prayer with me:
"Father, I take my rightful position with You right now in the Kingdom of God. You have made me not only your son (daughter), but also a person of WISDOM that cannot be defeated in the Name of Jesus. Devils, demons, imps, and even satan have to bow at the Name of Jesus. Father God, I am who You say that I am, YOUR CHILD. You have given me dominion over everything that moves, creeps, crawls, walks, swims, or flies and that includes POWER over the defeated foe, lucifer. You are Who that You say that You are, my Mighty Fortress, Shield, Buckler, Protector, Strength, Deliverer, and Rock. Your Word is like a fire and hammer that goes forth and burns out the dross and pounds out the hardness from my life. Lord, I am Yours and You are mine. I praise You now in Jesus' Name."
WE PRAISE YOU, LORD JESUS!
It is no accident that you are reading this. ... These writings were written especially for you. God loves you. He wants you to be happy and filled with JOY. Simply, confess Jesus as Lord and the WISDOM of your life and continue to read the Word on a daily basis. Pray daily. Jesus needs you and cares for you. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and from this moment on, I guarantee you...YOU will HEAR from GOD, the FATHER. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He loves you so much!
Chapter 11 ... The Worthy Winners of the Will:
You are NOW in the Will, the Word, and the Way. You have made it through the War, the Wait, the Walk, and the Watch. And you are Wise! You are also a Worthy Winner! Christ has made you “Worthy”. Worthy means: deserving, suitable, due reward, value or merit, important. Without Jesus we are NOTHING, but with Him we are everything. We are the apple of His eye. No good thing will He withhold from us. We are WORTHY. "...For the laborer is worthy of his hire..." (Lk.10:7).
"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted WORTHY..." (Lk.21:36).
"That you might walk WORTHY of the Lord...being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col.1: 10). "That ye would walk WORTHY of God..." (1 Thes.2:12).
Paul talks about us being worthy of the Kingdom and of our calling (2 Thes.1:5, 11). Paul also said that the laborer is worthy of his reward (1 Tim.5:18).
Question? Is Jesus worthy? Of course He is. That makes you and I worthy because we have received Him as our Lord. If He is worthy, then according to the Word of God we are worthy. The Bible says, "...As He is, so are we in this world" (1 Jn.4:17). We are the righteousness of God in Jesus (2 Cor.5:21).
We are complete in Him (Col.2:10). We are made in the image of Christ. We make up His Body. Is His Body worthy? YES! We are now in the same species as God and His Son Jesus Christ. We are not God, but we are in the same class as God. I call it the God-class. Jesus made this possible. He bought us back from the enemy. He redeemed us from sin and bondage, made us WORTHY, and set our feet upon the Solid Rock (Jesus Christ the Righteous). We are bone of His bone…flesh of His flesh…members of His Body (Eph. 5:30).
We do forth as His sons and daughters. We have been made worthy by the Lamb. The enemy has absolutely no power over us. "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper..." (Is.54:17). We have God's ability. He has made us ABLE and WORTHY.
Jesus said, "If you SHALL ask (command) anything in My Name, I will do it" (Jn. 14:14). If we were not worthy, He would not allow us to use His wonderful Name.
We are beginning to walk in the fresh anointing and revelation knowledge that God has given us. Through Christ, we KNOW that we are worthy. We know who we are. We rule and reign now with Jesus and soon we will reign physically in His Kingdom called Heaven. Locked up in us is the ability of God. We are invincible in Jesus. We cannot be conquered in that Name. Actually, it is not really much of a battle when YOU KNOW that YOU have already won.
Furthermore, soon, Jesus will return again just as He said He would. He will receive us unto Himself and we will be with Him forever. We will continue to rule and reign, but on a greater plane and higher level with additional responsibilities and greater accountability.
YOU are SPECIAL and God has made YOU WORTHY! God is FOR YOU. He is on YOUR side. You are a joint-heir right now with Jesus Christ. This promise in Romans 8 is present tense, not future tense.
Let’s review for a moment. Christ has made us worthy! Disease, pain, poverty, infirmities, hurts, sin, and bondage have to go at the Name of Jesus. The Church is learning more about this great truth. The early Church knew a lot about miracles and healings, but did not have a real good handle on the new birth (being born again). Today, the modern Church has an excellent handle on the new birth, but has hardly scratched the surface on miracles and healings. Don't worry. It is coming. Praise God. That time is coming even as I speak. We are about to have the greatest outbreak of miracles, healings, signs, and wonders that the world has ever known! It is coming! Hallelujah!
Our Father is watching over us in a special and wonderful way. He cares for us with such compassion and love. We are the apple of His Eye! We are worthy! We are winners on the winning Team. Praise be to God!
God's POWER never changes. You have the same resurrection power within YOU right NOW. You may not know it. You may not feel like you do. You might even deny His power. However, it will not change His Word one iota. His Word is forever settled in heaven. You cannot change His Word. It changes not. Worthy is the Lamb and so are you! You need to use God's POWER. It belongs to you. His power is unlimited and omnipotent and it belongs to YOU through the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ. Christ reigns and YOU will reign with Him.
NEVER again say that you are not worthy. Jesus has made you worthy through His own Blood. You are on God's Team and Jesus is the Commander. When God looks at you, He sees you through the Blood of Jesus. Being on His Team automatically makes you a WINNER; therefore, you are indeed a worthy winner of the Will!
Last Words:
Praise the Living Lord and King! You have now looked at The Will, Word, Way, Witness, War, Wait, Walk, Watch, Wise, and the Worthy. You are NOW beginning to realize that God's Will is
God's best for your life. ALL things are NOW yours!
You have begun to accept your tremendous responsibilities in the Kingdom of God. You KNOW now that your enemy is totally defeated. You KNOW what it takes to remain in the Will of God.
You also KNOW that part of His Will is to tear down the strongholds of satan. You are a precious soldier on Divine Assignment dispatched by the Commander-in-Chief of the Universe. The devil's weapons are useless against you.
You go forth CHARGED in the POWER and AUTHORITY of God. His ability is yours. Your very words are filled with faith, love, mercy, compassion, and energy. People now come to you for answers and encouragement. You speak forth the oracles of God.
Your tongue is the pen of a ready writer! Miracles and wonders happen all around you in the Name of Jesus. The enemy runs and hides from you! He fears you just like he fears your Elder Brother, Jesus. He trembles and shakes when you say that Name…Jesus.
You have given and now you are reaping the harvest of good things. You have learned who you are, Who your Father is, and some good things about His Will for YOUR life. You are humble and meek in spirit. YOU will inherit the earth. As a giver, you will never lack. Everything you touch will prosper! All things are yours, including financial prosperity.
KNOWING the Will has become a lifestyle for YOU. It is not a chore, job, or sacrifice, but a lifestyle. You speak and things happen. The devils screech and hide! You say, "go" and they go. You speak to mountains (diseases, sicknesses, poverty, sin) and they move and melt away. People KNOW that you are special and different. They KNOW that there is greatness within you. You are precious! You are DYNAMITE!
Your weapons are mighty. You have become a powerful threat to the diabolical enemy…satan. You now walk into the LOSER's territory and knock down the very gates of hell and set captives FREE. The drug addict is delivered. The alcoholic is rescued from bondage. The hungry are fed. The religious spirits are cast out.
The sinner is forgiven and proclaims Jesus as Lord. The powerful FORCE in you is Jesus Christ. The enemy is the curse and you are the cure. You respond, "I KNOW The Will, The Word, and The Way. And Jesus has made me WORTHY! I am who He says I am. He is Who He says He is...the Son of the Living God Who has set us free forever and ever!"
The enemy responds with FEAR, frustration, and weakness because he operates in famine, feuds, and falsehoods. Soon, he will faint, fade, and FALL away into the pits of hell! You were born for such a time as this. You are heaven's finest product. Bullets cannot stop you. Man cannot stop you. Disease cannot stop you. The devils in hell cannot stop you. No one can stop you, but you. Signs, miracles, and wonders are all around you.
You are NOW marching to the beat and sound of the heavenly drum. You are in the Will of God. The Word of God dwells mightily in YOU. The Way (Jesus) has become your lifestyle. The Holy Spirit has become your Witness and the One Who empowers you with the authority and power of God. He lives within you along with the Father and Son. Your house has become the Temple of the Godhead. You are a holy vessel and instrument for His purpose!
