DEDICATION

I dedicate this book SWEET ANOINTING…PART 2 to our Father Jehovah‑Jireh, Jesus Christ our Messiah, the Holy Spirit our Comforter, my lovely wife Karen, and my wonderful family and friends. They know me and still love me. Thank God for the Sweet Anointing that is upon your life today!

FIRST WORDS

In this book, we will continue to look at the Anointing upon our lives as Christians today. May the Anointing of Jesus Christ grow stronger and stronger in your life!

In this book, my desire is to further acquaint you with the reality of the Anointing that God has placed upon your life. Hopefully, you will be challenged and blessed. I now present to you another exciting experience... “Sweet Anointing…Part 2”.

THE PRIEST’S ANOINTING

Being reared in a typical central Florida community, I grew up to love and appreciate my Christian heritage. On the other hand, I loathed most of the tradition that I had been exposed to because it was hypocritical. For the life of me, I could never figure out why wearing certain types of clothes, make‑up, jewelry, going to the movies or dances, or going swimming with the opposite sex would send your soul to hell faster than grease lightning! Their whole philosophy was “Hardness is Holiness”.

Watching all kinds of movies (including Soap‑Operas) on TV was okay. Going to a wholesome movie was NOT okay. Wearing a long dress with long sleeves was good for a lady. If she looked real pale and wore no make‑up…that was even better. That meant that she was real holy. The only thing was...no one told her about her wagging tongue that was a mile long and that she was a motor-mouth.

Most of the men in my denomination did not smoke, dip, chew, or cuss (curse). But what about tempers that flared, eyes that lusted, bitterness, jealousy, and ugly talking (including nasty jokes)? The men did as much gossip as the women…not good.

My point is simple. God looks on the heart and not the outward appearance of Christians. When God was in the process of anointing David as king, He told Samuel, “For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Sam. 16:7). Holiness comes from the inside out and not from the outside in. What is in the heart will eventually find its way to the surface. Aaron and his sons were chosen by God to be priests. The Bible indicates that “the precious oil ran down upon the head and beard of Aaron…running down to the edge of his garments” (Ps.133:2). As the fragrant smell of the oil was refreshing and delightful, its rich quantity typified the abundance of the Lord’s graces. Josephus indicates that there were eighty-three high-priests from Aaron to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans. Each priest was anointed and prayed over with the laying on of hands.

With this in mind, first, what is a priest? The word “priest” comes from the word “presbyter” (elder). The priest of a congregation in the liturgical sense…is the minister of Divine worship, especially during the preaching, communion, and other sacerdotal functions In this sense, every religion has its priests, exercising more or less exalted priesthood functions as intermediaries between man and Divinity.

However, first, let us look at the anointed Christian and her priesthood in the Kingdom of God. The Bible says, “And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Rev.1:6). “And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth” (Rev.5:10). In this sense, every born again Believer is a “priest”.

Our High Priest is Jesus Christ. Christ means “The Anointed One”. He was and is and will always be “Anointed”. He is our eternal High Priest, King, and Prophet. He is the ultimate High Priest. Christ has a special Anointing to care, love, nurture, and shepherd the sheep that come to Him. As our Heavenly Priest, He is always prepared to feed His sheep with good things… positive things…valuable things.

As anointed Christians, we are also priests. What do priests do? They serve. They provide for the needs of others. They are prepared to give an answer of hope and optimism (hopefully a Biblical one) when talking to people. A good and positive answer in due season is priceless. As priests, we give our time, talents, money, and very lives for others. We develop a shepherd’s heart. We truly have compassion and love for the Body of Christ. To be an Anointed Priest in God’s Kingdom, the prime requisite is to be anointed by God and to be an available vessel.

As priests and members of the Body of Christ, we must rightly discern the Lord's Body. To effectively do this, it is extremely necessary to find out where we belong and also properly recognize other men and women and their gifts. We need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to the needs of others. We can discern, discover, and distinguish the Lord's Body and the gifts and talents within the Lord’s Body. We need to encourage and assist in activating these gifts.

Being a priest is a gift from Jesus Christ. Sometimes, working in a local church, you may feel that you are unappreciated or unloved, but those thoughts come directly from the accuser, satan the STUPID one. You are a gift to the Body. The other sheep need you and you need them to fulfill the call on your life in the Kingdom of God. It reminds me of a marriage. First, there is the honeymoon, when you can do no wrong. Everything is altogether lovely. Love is in the air. Love is everywhere! Praises are high and frequent. Things just seem too good to be true!

Second, little things start happening. You become disenchanted about some little change in the church, perhaps the carpet was changed to green or purple or bright orange. This has really upset you to no little degree! Now you have a decision to make. You can listen to the enemy OR you can get the Mind of Christ on this. Since you know that the Anointing is upon your life, you know that you will have to ask the Lord what He thinks about the matter. You seek God openly and diligently and the Holy Spirit speaks. He speaks to you and says, “You are Anointed. You are a holy priest. You must continue to be a SERVANT in the congregation. You are Anointed to serve. People may not understand you all the time; however, you are there to serve them because in doing so, you are serving Me.”

What did Jesus do? Jesus did not think He was too good to wash the feet of His disciples. He was their Servant. He loved them, cared for them, watched out for their welfare, protected them, energized them, exhorted them, comforted them, prospered them, and died for them. Do you get my drift? If we treat others with kindness and gentleness, they will treat us the same way. If we meet the needs of the people, our own needs will be met.

Moreover, the Sweet Anointing of a priest will also bring about "unity". God and His Son are One. Jesus and His Church are One. Unity is being restored to the Body. Unity brings love and patience that will cover a multitude of sins (especially our own). When unity is absent, strife is present. If strife is allowed to grow in a local church, it will eventually kill the influence of that local congregation. Many of God's people have missed out on the finer things of life through strife. Strife causes sickness, disease, mental problems, and bondage. Strife is not good! The antidote and remedy: The Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

For us to have unity in our churches, we must have unity in our homes…no exceptions. If we sow seeds of unity, we will reap a harvest of unity in our local churches and communities. Unity breeds unity. Strife breeds strife. Either way, a great harvest will come!

Unity does not mean compromise. It simply means that we are in favor of harmony, peace, singleness of purpose, and a cohesiveness of love among the brethren. Today, more than ever, we need to accentuate the positive and all the beliefs that we have in common, instead of all our petty (small) differences. We do have a lot in common as Christians...our sins are washed away, God is our Father, Jesus is our Lord and Savior...the Holy Spirit is our Comforter...heaven is our new home forever. The enemy is not another denomination or church or another priest. The enemy is none other than our defeated foe lucifer the LOSER.

The war has already been won for us as believers and priests. It is not much of a fight when we find out that we have already won (Eph. 1:22‑23).

Being a priest in God’s economy of things, you will learn some valuable lessons. You will learn that everything that is yellow is not gold. Jesus had that experience with Judas unfortunately. Even though you are up front and “Anointed” as a clean vessel before the Lord and you are very caring, that does not mean that disappointments will not come. They will. The fleshly element is always present…and so is the anointing. Some will look you right in the face eyeball to eyeball and lie to you. Some will try to manipulate you, especially when it comes to money. Some will attempt to dominate you or intimidate you. Some will try to provoke you. Some will even accuse you. What did they do to Christ? Our job as a priest is to love them…pray for them that God will have mercy upon their lives. Other Christians do not work for you. They work for God. They answer to God for their deeds (good or bad). Remember, just commit them to God and He will not only see you through, but also accomplish some great things in your life.

Always keep this in mind. Time is our most valuable asset and resource. Time waits for no man or woman. It slips away quickly. It is a very precious commodity that is constantly in short supply. As a priest, use your time wisely in the Kingdom.

One time I was out knocking on doors telling people about Jesus and our church in Monticello, Georgia, when an elderly man answered the door of a beautiful Southern home. The elderly gentleman and I discussed the Lord, the Word, and heaven. He even broke down and wept. He cried, "I asked Jesus into my heart a long, long time ago. I believe that Jesus is coming soon."

We continued our conversation for about 25 minutes. As I was leaving his home, I said, "Well, if I never see you again this side of heaven, I will see you over there."

He responded, "Oh no, Brother, we just never know whether we will make it to heaven or not until we die. No one KNOWS if he is saved or not until he dies. We don’t know that sort of thing!”

I thought the man was kidding me. After his weeping, laughing, and just enjoying the mutual sharing, I could not believe my ears. I asked, "What do you mean, man?"

The silver haired man exclaimed, "We must wait and see. No one knows whether or not he is saved or going to Heaven. I hope I am, but I do not KNOW. I won't KNOW until after I die!"

After sharing some Scriptures with him about how we can truly KNOW that we are presently saved, he thought that I was fanatical, unlearned, and stupid. Eventually, he told me to leave his property immediately. Of course I did leave, but not before sharing one more vital important tid bit of information. (Note: Please don’t do as I did in my radical years over 30 years ago. This would probably not be productive, appropriate, or appreciated today.) But this is what I said, "If I served a God that I could not trust...that I had no confidence in…if I served a God that erased my sins, yet I could not KNOW that I was on my way to heaven, I'll tell you what I would do. I would go home right now and gather up all my Bibles, reference books, Christian materials, and bring them to your carport…pour gasoline on them and BURN every last one of them before your very eyes."

Needless to say, the man went bonkers on me and almost flipped out. He started to cough. He choked. His face turned scarlet red...and then purple. He began breathing erratically. He could hardly catch his breath. His whole countenance changed. I honestly thought for a few seconds that he might have a heart attack and die, but I also KNEW my God. Finally, he regained his composure. He said some nasty things. I departed the area ASAP and got out of Dodge.

Furthermore, as a priest, we need to follow the example of Jesus Christ Our High Priest and also the local example of our local priest, pastor, rector, or bishop. They have been given to the Body of Christ to help us live a more peaceable and productive life. The devil has tried to pervert this part of the Gospel. It is funny (ridiculous) how men will follow a GOOD military leader into battle, even when some of them KNOW that they may not return. Some will follow the words of a medical doctor to the letter, even if it kills them. And some would dare NOT question the words of a good lawyer at any cost. It is a rarity if an aircraft pilot is questioned on his flying ability. Most people never give it a second thought. Yet, when it comes to following the standards and advice of a local priest sometimes, people suddenly get pious and start scrutinizing and criticizing. Some will traditionally say, "We are not supposed to follow some man. We are supposed to follow Jesus".

If you were on the battlefield engaged in physical combat and knew very little about warfare, I will guarantee that you would be looking for an experienced, seasoned, combat soldier to assist you during the heat of the battle. You would either follow the sound advice of the veteran or turn coward, run and hide, or die.

Does the local priest have faith? Does he have patience? Will he inherit the promises? Does he follow Jesus? Then follow the priest. Paul was very explicit in his advice. When Paul told us to pattern our lives after his (Phil.3:17), was he arrogant? Was he out of his mind? You KNOW he was not. Paul was a great man, but we have great men today that have the same faith that Paul had. Good priests have the same Jesus that Paul had. They have the same Holy Spirit living within. Paul died physically over 1900 years ago, but your local priest is ALIVE today to assist you and be your example. Let it be so!

Certainly, Paul is to be admired and respected. And I am not taking anything away from Paul's dignity and character. On the contrary, he wrote two‑thirds of the New Testament. However, there is a greater than Paul that is here today...and His Name is Jesus. This same Jesus lives within “Anointed” priests today in local congregations.

The local priest cannot do it all himself or herself. I have seen some priests try to do it ALL. Some of them preach, give communion, visit the sick, make numerous telephone calls, counsel, pray for the sick, and have radio programs, television, and news articles. Some of them are no longer with us. They died with worn out bodies. They are out of here...in heaven. They were good men and women, too...but they did not delegate very well. They did it all themselves and they died. Their local church is still going on.

That is why it is so important to delegate authority. I did not say…delegate responsibility. A local priest can delegate authority, but not responsibility. There is only one person that God holds responsible for any church…the local senior priest or rector. The buck stops at the priest…pastor…or rector. He or she is solely responsible. A local priest should delegate authority so that he does not spread himself too thin. Likewise, all priests need to train, disciple, teach, and duplicate themselves in their sheep. Paul said, "...Be ye followers of me. Know how you should follow us..." (1 Cor.4:16, 11:1; 2 Thes.3:7‑9).

The following is a note of humor about singing and singers. Music and singing should be glorious experiences within the church. There are four types of singers. One type is the singer that CAN sing, but does not KNOW it. The second type is the person that CANNOT sing, but does NOT know it. The third type is the singer that CAN sing and also KNOWS it. The fourth type is the person that CANNOT sing and KNOWS it. The second type that I mentioned is the person that will give you the trouble. Let us face it, we can all make a joyful noise; however, we are not all called to be used in the Anointed Ministry of Song...at least not yet in this present age.

Therefore, this is where a good local priest comes in. Many times you must be totally true to yourself, your ears, your church, and the type two singer above. You must use love, compassion, tact, human dignity, and a whole bunch of discretion in talking to this lovely person. Nevertheless, for the integrity of the church congregation, a good little talk will be necessary to the individual. "Faithful are the wounds of a friend..." (Pr.27:6).

In short, this has not been a long dissertation on being an anointed priest. The Sweet Anointing upon your life as a priest will be extremely exciting!

In the next chapter, we will look at “The King’s Anointing”.

THE KING’S ANOINTING

The Bible says, "Where the word of a king is, there is power..." (Eccl.8:4).

“And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Rev.1:6). “And has made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth” (Rev.5:10). “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Pet.2:9).

How does it feel to be a king and to have a king’s anointing? How does it feel to be a king and have the power of a king? “Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul's head. He kissed Saul on the cheek and said, "I am doing this because the LORD has appointed you to be the leader (king) of his people Israel” (1 Sam.10:1). Saul was the first king over Israel. David followed close behind and became their second king…and then Solomon…and other kings followed. God had a plan for their lives. They were anointed and set apart for a Divine purpose. Some of the kings did that “which was right in God’s eyes” and some did not. Nevertheless, each had a definite and special Anointing to be a king.

Even though we are a kingdom of kings, we give honor to the King of Kings and to the Lord of Lords…Jesus Christ the Righteous One. He is the ultimate King! We will rule and reign with Him forever.

As we alluded earlier, the role of a priest is to define the vision of the kingdom and then to speak God's instruction to others in regards to keeping the kingdom on the straight and narrow. Without this vision, the people perish. Furthermore, the role of a king is to provide provision for the vision.

In the old days, kings went to war and brought home the spoils, which would then be applied to pursue the vision and then to build upon the vision. Though both kings and priests worked in different roles, they both worked together in unity. Their job was NOT to compete with each other, but to work together in harmony for the good of the kingdom.

What does a king do? Kings do kingly things. They provide for others. They protect others. They give to others. Kings bless those around them. They bring glory to the Kingdom! Kings are a unique breed in which the Holy Spirit gives special insight and direction, especially in doing kingdom business. They are anointed to help God’s people. They receive POWER from God to experience faith, prayer, love, gifts from the Holy Spirit, and a passion for the welfare of others. Kings are anointed by Jesus Christ and are commissioned to go forth on Divine Assignment. “Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Mt.28:19-20).

Kings are royalty. They have class. They have style. They have character. They have dignity. You are a king! The Bible says that He (God) has made us kings.

In days gone by as I have taught the Word of God in the United States and Central Europe, most Christians have readily accepted the message of POWER through prayer, POWER in fasting, POWER in giving, and even the message of POWER through faith and love. However, the real battle came when I started teaching that Christians could be healed. They could be healed by the stripes of Jesus (1 Peter 2:24). Sometimes, this message was fought “tooth and toenail” regardless of my locality. The enemy (satan) does not want us free from sickness. He does not want us to know the truth...that we are NOW healed because we were healed almost 2000 years ago. That same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the tomb now lives within us, every fiber of our bodies. That healing virtue touches you and me and makes us well! We are body of His Body, flesh of His Flesh, bone of His Bone, and we have His blood applied to our hearts (Eph.5:30).

Normally, this was the scenario…When I would teach sinners, they would get healed easily. New born babes in Christ would get healed easily. But in contrast, the old experienced Christians that had been sick or afflicted for many years did not respond too well to the message of healing. Some of the old timers would tell me how many operations they had endured, how long they had been on medication, how many doctors had seen them, how many preachers, priests, and pastors had prayed for them...and the beat went on.

As a king, we need to know that Jesus healed us 2000 years ago. If He healed us (past tense), then we are healed now (present tense). Now, if He did in fact heal us, then we do not belong in bed. We need to be about kingly business. We have work to do in the Kingdom. We honestly do not have the option or the time to be sick. Jesus took ALL our diseases, sicknesses, and infirmities upon Himself (Mt.8:17). If Jesus did this for you and me, then please tell me why that we must bear them. We are kings and priests…sons and daughters of the LIVING God.

We are SAVED and HEALED. We have the power of God living within us. We are filled with His Holy Spirit. We are WHOLE. Now, please do not get me wrong. Please do not misconstrue or misinterpret what I am about to say! I am not against doctors. Many times, I need a doctor. Other times, I need medical help. Praise God for good knowledgeable doctors and medical personnel. We all need good medical doctors. God does not want us to suffer pain. All Christians are not at the same level of faith and spiritual maturity. Faith grows. The Anointing grows. As Christians, our faith levels are different. Some Christians appropriate, seize, and receive their healing almost immediately. For others, it may take a while. Sometimes, we need others to lay their hands on us and pray for us…our healing. Regardless of our faith level or Christian experience, let us never stop believing in Divine healing. God still heals today more than ever. There is a balance to the healing process! We do not have to die prematurely. Life on earth is too short to be sick and in pain. Healing is part of our heritage as well as medical science.

Sometimes, God has healed me immediately. Earlier in this book, I wrote about the time that I was dying with encephalitis…inflammation of the brain in 1971…And Jesus walked into my hospital room and healed me.

Other times, I have prayed, but it has taken a while. Still yet other times, I had to seek out medical professionals, physicians, surgeons, and medical support. Does that mean that I am a weak Christian or that my faith is weak? No. It simply means that I want to live a while longer on Planet Earth. That’s what it means!
One thing that I have taught students and individuals in seminars and conferences…is the need to be literate and educated in Biblical knowledge. Until the last 35 years, the average Christian was almost illiterate when it came to Practical Theology. He knew how to be saved, but he did not know how to live a daily life of victory through faith. As kings, God’s Word in our hearts needs to be mixed with faith. Today, knowledge is being increased daily and kings are learning what is going on in God’s Kingdom.

Over the years, I have learned that Christians sometimes are just LAZY when it comes to the Word of God. Some want to be spoon fed. Some want you to chew it up for them. And still others want their breakfast or dinner in bed. Sometimes, they even refuse to come to church to eat it. These are the ones that will call the priest on Monday morning wanting him to pray or counsel with them because trouble has come to their house.

Anointed kings come in all sizes and shapes. Some are men. Some are women. Some are white. Some are black. Some are red or yellow. They may be married or single. Some are loud. Others are soft spoken. They may be formally educated, informally educated, humorous, provocative, inspiring, challenging, dynamic, or passionate.

As kings in the Kingdom, we should never criticize another king. He or she is one of GOD's ANOINTED. He does not work for you. He works for God. If you criticize, it will open the door for the enemy to come in and play havoc in your life. However, with that being said, I do know that Paul tells us to correct and rebuke at times. The Bible says to “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage…with great patience and careful instruction” (2 Tim.4:2, NIV). This is accomplished through a loving and caring spirit…and normally not through a critical spirit.

As Godly kings, sometimes, in the scheme of things and in the unity of the Spirit, we will need to “eat the chicken and spit out the bones”. Sometimes, even the part that you thought was a bone may turn out to be just a tough piece of good solid meat that needs more chewing. In other words, do not throw out the dishes with the dishwater.

An Anointed king will be ready at all times with a positive word or encouragement for others. Kings prepare themselves in word and spirit. They are prepared for kingly service! I believe that a king will study to show himself approved of God (2 Tim.2:15)…and that he will be ready always to give an answer (1 Pet. 3:15). We must be prayed up, read up, and charged up to do Kingdom Service. We are indeed special kings of royalty!

The “anointed” kings of God are gifts to the Church and will be a refreshing oasis in the desert sun. They will sow knowledge and plant seeds of value that will be springs of living, bubbling, clear, and sparkling water in the lives of other kings (saints). Their message will be anointed and will edify people. Their imparted knowledge will be illuminating, exhilarating, and invigorating.
Kings “fire” other people up. I did not say fire them, but they “fire others up”. They motivate and spur them on to great success! Furthermore, the way a king lives…speaks louder than all of his sermons and words put together.

In this chapter, we have looked at “The King’s Anointing”. Kings do not worry about what man thinks; however, they are concerned about what God thinks. In the next chapter, we will take a look at “The Prophet’s Anointing”. So, relax, kick back, and get ready to enjoy Chapter 8.

THE PROPHET’S ANOINTING

Prophets are listed throughout the Bible. Just to name a few, Abraham, Aaron, Moses, Samuel, Nathan, Jehu, Elijah, Elisha, Jonah, Isaiah, Daniel, and John the Baptist were all prophets. Jesus Christ was not only the Son God, but He was also the ultimate Prophet!

What do prophets do? Who are prophets? Prophets are on a divine assignment for the General…General Jesus. The words that a prophet speaks are powerful in the Kingdom of God and very damaging to the enemy's territory. Prophets also have a compassion for souls. God has given the prophet a mission to accomplish in His Kingdom. Prophets are dynamic individuals that God has called for a specific purpose. All the demon forces fear an anointed prophet. Who are prophets? Look in the mirror!

For the purpose of this book, a prophet is “one who speaks for God” or on His behalf. It is someone who speaks by divine inspiration… one who speaks for someone else. Thus, a prophet is a spokesman for God. He or she is God’s mouthpiece. Any one being a spokesman for God to man might thus be called a prophet. The title has a general application to all who have messages from God to men. Therefore, for the purpose of this book, all of God’s children who have a message or testimony from God or about God is a prophet.

“Moses said...would to God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put His spirit upon them” (Numbers 11:29).

God's angels assist the prophets because they are a real threat to the enemy, especially when the prophet speaks in the wonderful Name of Jesus.

What does it mean to be a King, Priest, and Prophet? In the Old Testament times a person had to born of the kingly family in order to become a king. They had to be born into the priestly family line to become a Priest. They had to be called and anointed by God to be a Prophet.

Then Jesus came…Jesus Christ came into the Earth as King, Priest, and Prophet. Now He sits at the right hand of the throne of God as the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is making intercession for us as the Highest Priest. He rules over His Kingdom. He is the Chief Prophet because He speaks for God anytime…and the Word that He speaks is always true!

Here is the good news. When you became a Christian you were born into God’s family. You are now in His Family as a kingly king and priestly priest. Yes, you are a King and a Priest. You have also been called to serve. Additionally, you have been called to tell others about Christ. “Prophecy resulted when the Holy Spirit prompted men and women to speak God's Word” (2 Pet.1:21).

I know that the Office of Prophet has a different connotation and implication such as: The "seer" who beholds the vision of God…The foretelling of future events in the prophetic office of prophet. Some even prophesied about future events. For the purpose of this book, I want us to look at the more general definition of prophet and “The Prophet’s Anointing”.

You are anointed by the Holy Spirit to speak forth the testimony of what God has done for you. The Holy Spirit is with you, in you, and upon you. Your mission is to let people know about God and what He has accomplished in your life!

Equally important, you should know one simple fact: The SIN PROBLEM of the world has been rectified and eradicated by JESUS; however, we still have a SINNER PROBLEM. That is where you and I come in. The battle scene is raging! The enemy is throwing everything he has at the Church. The combat zone is hot! War has been declared. Guns are firing. Projectiles have filled the sky and airwaves. Dirt and smoke are everywhere! However, enemy bombs are ineffective and constantly turning into duds because we are “prophets” who speak forth what God is doing on Planet Earth. We are the Anointed Ones. We are praying, moving out, and interceding on behalf of the lost ones who need to come to Christ.

We now take our place in the Army of God. In reality, God wants us to be as BOLD as lions. Our job is to speak forth the Word of God wherever and whenever possible…to be a “witness” on this earth. We can also pray for the sick to be healed…We can carry the Gospel to the poor, deliver the captives, and minister restoration where possible.

We all start out on this journey the same way...naked from our mother's womb. None of us can change the place, date, or circumstances in which we were born into this world. Neither can we change our past. However, somewhere along the way, we must make a choice to either follow Jesus or reject Him. No other human being on this earth makes this choice for us. Our fathers do not. Our mothers do not. Our spouses do not. We alone make this decision. As you minister as a “prophet” or spokesman for God, the Church will never be the same!

In the formal sense, you may not be one of the prophets as stated in 1 Cor 12:28: “And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others…” Or you may not be one of the prophets in this verse…“It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers” (Eph:4:11). However, you can be an anointed “spokesman” for God anytime.

It does not matter if we live in Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, in a cave, in a tree, or under a rock. Every single individual on this planet makes a choice to either follow Jesus or NOT. We are born with the knowledge of a Supreme Being. The Word says that we clearly see and understand right from wrong and are without excuse (Rom.1:18‑2:1). Man has no excuse!

Man was created by God. Man is special. He has intelligence. He has the five senses, intellect, emotions, desires, ambitions, and initiative. Man is spirit. This is the only way he can communicate with God, his Creator. Man lives in a body. Man has a soul. Man is spirit. Man has a nature. Without God, man has the Adamic nature according to scripture. In other words, man without God will destroy himself and God's beautiful creation. Without God, man is hell bent and ruthless. I think I have even met a few ruthless Christians in my day! This is why the Church needs our testimony as witnesses and as a prophetic voice.

We are on the cutting edge. As anointed ministers of the Gospel, we are on assignment to destroy the works of the devil and bring down to this earth the Kingdom of Heaven. The enemy has no power over us unless we allow it. You are a WARRIOR! Restoration is coming.
Some day, there will be no more deaths. Some day, the earth will be peaceful in every dimension. Blissful unity, harmony, peace, joy, love, and kindness will be everywhere in the universe. But until that day comes, the “prophets” (ministers) are desperately needed in the restoration of the Church.

Believers that desire to be used of God are being skilled as combat soldiers. They are charged with the POWER of the living God to go forth and erase disease, destroy sin in people’s lives, rescue the hell bent, and pour in Eternal LIFE, and make them VICTORIOUS CREATIONS in Jesus’ Name through the Holy Spirit. We now take our place in the Army of God. In reality, God wants us to be as BOLD as lions. God wants to use you. You have the POWER of God inside YOU. It is called the dynamic ability of God. THANK GOD, you can make it happen! The devil is the disease and we (the Church) are the CURE through JESUS!

I get excited...extremely excited just thinking about what God the Father has done for the Church and is about to do!

Jesus consistently walked in all five of the Five‑Fold Ministries mentioned in Scripture. Many times He would teach. Other times He would preach! He prayed for the sick. Jesus "preached the Word unto them" (Mk.2:2). "And Jesus went about all the cities, teaching in their synagogues, and PREACHING the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing EVERY sickness and EVERY disease among the people" (Mt.9:35). Jesus was a teacher, shepherd (pastor), evangelist, prophet, and apostle. He had the Anointing and Spirit without measure.

Christ is the Head. We are the Body. He has given us gifts (Rom.12:5‑8, 1 Cor. 12:8‑10). Every child of God has at least one gift from the Lord. If we will use the gift or gifts that we have, He will enlarge our gift. Success breeds success in the Kingdom of God. Tradition has taught us that as Christians, we are nothing but a worm. I believe that when Christ comes into our lives, we are worms no longer…but children of the King. I believe we are the righteousness of God (2 Cor.5:21). I believe that we are re‑created by the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Old things have passed away. All things have become new (2 Cor.5:17). We become a brand new re-created person.

JESUS is our CENTRAL THEME.

Without Him, we can do nothing! God made you a “Somebody”. He has never made any junk in His Kingdom. Think about this: If God used a rod (Ex.4:2), an ass (Nu.22:28), jawbone of an ass (Judges 15:15), ram's horn (Joshua 6:5), ox goad (Judges 3:31), mantle (2 Kings 2:8), and a roster (Mk.14:72), He can and will certainly use YOU and me.

The following is a poem that I wrote in 1982 while living in Germany:

Who is this Man?
By Tommy Franks, Ph.D.

I was once dead,
But NOW I have been re‑created.
I was on my way to hell,
But NOW I am on the road to Glory.
I was once lost, lonely, and cold,
But NOW He has found me.
I was once in total bondage,
But NOW He has set me FREE.
I was once born into sin a loser,
But NOW I am a born‑again Winner.
I was once so empty and hopeless without power,
But NOW I am filled with His faith and anointing.
I once felt so alone without joy,
But NOW He gas given me the Holy Comforter.
I once was in shambles,
But NOW I have a brand new Landlord.
I once felt so unloved,
But NOW I have a great Lover…The Lover of my soul.
Who is this Man?
Who is this Landlord?
Who is this Lover?
This Man is Jesus, the Lover of my soul!

Today, God is looking for REAL people. He is building an Army of combat soldiers. He has armed us with armor for warfare. We do not have to give up any ground. We walk in and possess the land for the Lord and His Kingdom. The Word says, "For behold I have made YOU this day a fortified city and an iron pillow, and bronze walls against the whole land" (Jer.1:18).

Jesus gave us POWER over all the enemy (Lk.10:19). How can we lose? We are the victors. We are the winners. The devil is in BIG trouble. He is forever defeated!

God loves you and me so much. He wants the very best for us. Nothing is too good for YOU...nothing. You are His Child...“the apple of His eye”. Jesus never condemns...only commends us to God. Is that not WONDERFUL? The Sweet Anointing...How Sweet it is!

Chosen to be His “Anointed” prophet, YOU are indeed SPECIAL. You will drink deeply at the well and fountain of our Lord Jesus. You will be fed regularly at the Lord's table. He will saturate you with His love. You will come to know the reality of the Father, the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and the intimacy of the Holy Spirit. The Word will gain the ascendancy over your mind and body. Your mind will constantly be renewed. You are who God says you are...His child. The power and Sweet Anointing dwell within you. The Greater One lives within you. God edifies and purifies us. Sometimes that may mean some dross gets burned away in the process. But dross is no good to us anyway. It is refuse and impurities that impede our Christian maturity.

"For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in POWER" (1 Cor.4:20). "And Stephen, full of faith and POWER, did great wonders and miracles among the people" (Acts 6:8). God continues to speak to His prophets today. You are His anointed prophet (spokesperson).

Personally, I believe that God wants us to be mature, well‑trained, and well‑versed in Biblical knowledge. He certainly does not want us to continue to be a novice. Remember: God is the great Designer. He is the Originator of all things. He developed the great Master Plan of all the ages past, present, and future. His Son, Jesus Christ the Righteous, is the Executor of His plans and Will. He executes and puts the plans into action. The Holy Spirit is the Revealer of these plans. The Holy Spirit reveals these plans to our spirits.

The greatest and most powerful force on this earth today is the Body of Christ, the holy Church. The times of refreshing are now. The restoration of all things to include His Church is now. Paul talks about "a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle" (Eph.5:27). The Church has been cleansed and washed by the Word and is presently being restored to its full honor and respect. Let us examine the word "glorious" as it applies to the Church. "Glorious" means: a place of honor, place of position, place of dignity and admiration, splendid, noble, gorgeous, adoration, praise, condition of highest achievement, splendor, prosperity, radiant beauty, magnificence, and the bliss of heaven. Absolutely remarkable will be the Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle!

The Lord is going to present His Church without spot. Peter called them "blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings" (2 Pet.2:13). According to Peter, there will be false prophets, teachers, and their followers among the Church. They will perish in their own corruption. The word "spot" means:
1. a stain or blemish
2. defect
3. disgrace
4. fault
5. in trouble or danger

These spots will be separated from Christ's Church and reserved until Judgment Day to be punished. The wheat will be eternally saved, but the tares will be eternally damned.

The Bible says that we are a peculiar people (1 Pet. 2:9). What does this mean? The word "peculiar" is a God given word. It means:

1. SPECIAL
2. GOD's PEOPLE
3. TREASURE
4. POSSESSION OF GOD
5. EXTRAORDINARY
6. PURCHASED (BOUGHT)
7. PRESERVED
8. DISTINCTIVE
9. UNIQUE (DIFFERENT)
10. WELL‑DEFINED

The Church is indeed peculiar. The “prophet” is peculiar because he or she is special, a treasure, extraordinary, distinctive, and well-defined. The Church to include all of her prophets…is the most powerful dynamic FORCE on the earth…infused with the ability of God through Jesus Christ. The days of Church impotency are rapidly coming to a close. Signs and miracles are now everywhere throughout the earth. The Spirit of the Living God is upon the Church. The Church is like a mighty Army going to war. She is charged and ready. "For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in POWER" (1 Cor.4:20).

God's Army is being filled with the necessary men and women to restore all things for the return of His Son Jesus Christ the Messiah. I truly believe that we are living near the end of time or age as we know it now. As prophets, we need to speak the oracles of God. We need to become the eyes and ears…if you will…for the full restoration of the Church. We need to march to the beat of His drum and not the world's. "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself STRONG on BEHALF of THEM whose heart is perfect toward Him" (2 Chr.16:9).

What is the solution to the world’s problems? There is only one...LOVE. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love brings forgiveness. Love never fails. Love will bring UNITY. Love brings harmony and the sweet anointing thrives on love, unity, and harmony.

Being a Christian should be FUN. It should be INTRIGUING. It should be fascinating, adventurous, and interesting...anything but boring. Why should our lives be boring? Is Jesus boring? Was His life on earth boring? Is the Kingdom of God boring? Are you kidding me? Our God is ALIVE. He leads us into green pastures. He leads us beside the refreshing cool, clear waters. He restores our soul. We do not have the time or the luxury to get bored, tired, sad, disheartened, unhappy, despondent, or depressed. Life is just too full of excitement for that!

Our lives do not belong to us, but to our Father and to the Body of Christ…in order to serve others. This is the most gratifying and rewarding life that anyone could possibly live…serving others as a servant!

Are you enjoying this? The Holy Spirit has anointed you for such a time as this! The next chapter is about "The Sweet Anointing". I know you will enjoy it because it will build your faith. YOU are indeed SOMEBODY in the BODY of CHRIST. Nothing is too good for you!

The Sweet Anointing

"...A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead...But a certain Samaritan...had compassion on him...and bound up his wounds, pouring in OIL and WINE...and took care of him" (Lk.10:30‑34).

Let us elaborate and refine this a little more: Jesus said, "There was once a man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho. On the way he was attacked by robbers. They took his clothes, beat him up, and went off leaving him half-dead. Luckily, a priest was on his way down the same road, but when he saw him he angled across to the other side. Then a Levite religious man showed up. He also avoided the injured man. A Samaritan traveling the road came upon him. When he saw the man's condition, his heart went out to him. He gave him first aid, disinfecting and bandaging his wounds. Then he lifted him onto his donkey, led him to an inn, and made him comfortable. In the morning he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, "Take good care of him. If it costs any more, put it on my bill. I'll pay you on my way back.” What do you think? Which of the three became a neighbor to the man attacked by robbers?”

“The one who treated him kindly,” the lawyer responded. Jesus said, "Go and do the same." (Lk.10:25-37, The Message, NavPress).

This certain man represents you and me before we met Jesus. We were in sin on our way down. Even though Jericho had thousands of priests who lived there, many robbers and thieves surrounded the area. The priests were ineffective in their ministry. The Levite or head deacon was even less effective. Jericho was a very religious village. It was a beautiful village with many, many palm trees. If you have ever been there, you will agree that it is a beautiful and lovely village.

You and I both were like this man. We fell among a thief…satan the STUPID one. For many years the thief stole from us. He wounded us. Sometimes, he used other people to wound us. Other times, he used our friends or family to wound us. Sometimes, he even used church members to wound us. He stripped us of our health, our finances, our self‑respect, our motivation, our goals, and our dignity

Finally, one day the thief (satan) left us half dead, stripped, and wounded. This is when the GOOD SAMARITAN…JESUS Christ (The Anointed One) came along. He saw us and had COMPASSION on us. He knew we needed His spirit within us. He knew we needed the oil and the wine of the Holy Spirit.

Some preachers and head deacons had seen us before Jesus came along, but they did not have time to help us. They were too busy preaching their traditions. After all, we were wounded, dirty, and naked...quite unsightly for some men of the cloth. We might get blood on their clothes. They might get their hands dirty caring for us.
Could you blame them? We were worlds apart. They were men of religion who could quote Scripture. And we were just mere men and women...lost...without God or His Son…on our way to hell. We knew nothing about God! What did we have to offer?

Who cared for our souls? Who could help? Who could save us from death? Praise God, another Man similar to us came along (but without sin). He also was despised, scorned, and rejected, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief and pain, and afflicted (Is.53:3‑4). He even died at the hands of these religious men, but not in vain. He died for YOU and ME...for our sins. We owed a debt we could not pay. He paid a debt He did not owe. His BLOOD paid for the debt in full. His Body was broken (bruised) for our healings.

When Jesus saw us, He did not have much in which to work. We were half dead, bleeding, destitute, naked, no way to repay Him. We had nothing that he could use prior to our salvation. We were fleshly. We were earthly minded. WE had been ROBBED, stripped, and LEFT for DEAD! But He saw us. The Anointed One saw us. He saw us where we were. He saw us for what we were…sinners hanging on by a thread. Jesus came to us. He met us where we were. HE had COMPASSION on US. Some of the religious ones had refused to help, but the Samaritan came, saw our condition, heard our cries, and had COMPASSION on us...mind, soul, spirit, and body. Praise be to Jesus our Lord!

Then He took care of our wounds, our broken hearts, our wounded spirits, and our sick bodies by POURING in the OIL and the WINE. This of course typifies the SWEET ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit. The SWEET ANOINTING destroyed our sins forever. The Holy Spirit took up residence in our lives. NOW, we are just as ANOINTED as JESUS. He was the First to be reborn among millions that have since been reborn and recreated.

Who would have thought that we who had nothing…would inherit everything that the Son of God has in His Kingdom? We have His Anointing. We have His Spirit. We have His inheritance. The Word says that Christ has been made unto wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Whatever He has, we have now through Him.

In the first chapter, you looked at the word "anoint" and found that it means: to smear on oil or ointment, consecrate, unction, to soothe or comfort. The GOOD SAMARITAN has anointed you with FRESH OIL and WINE. YOU are ANOINTED with the SWEET ANOINTING of the HOLY GHOST.

The Bible says that the Samaritan brought the wounded man to the inn and TOOK CARE OF HIM (Lk.10:34). He even took out his own money (two silver coins) and gave it to the host. Some say that the two coins were the equivalent to the ransom of a life. You and I know for a fact that the ransom for our lives has been paid in full indeed. We were bought back from the enemy. We have been ransomed from the evil one.

Jesus has poured His Life into us through the SWEET ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit. He has IMPARTED HIS LIFE INTO US. For our sins, He gave us forgiveness. For our hate, He gave us love. For our despair, He gave us hope. For our doubt, He gave us faith...for sadness, joy...for disease, Divine healing...for poverty, wealth. WE are FREE. WE are FREE INDEED!

Now then, the Lord showed me something else in this passage of Scripture. After Jesus had conveyed this story to the obnoxious lawyer, He asked, "Who was the neighbor to him that had been robbed" (author's version Lk.10:36).

The lawyer answered, "...He that showed mercy on him" (V.37).

"Then said Jesus unto him, GO, and DO thou LIKEWISE" (V.37).

This really excites me to no end. The Samaritan poured his own oil and wine into the man that needed help so desperately. The Good Samaritan…Jesus has poured His own fresh oil and wine from Heaven upon our lives and has ANOINTED us. Now, how do we go forth and show MERCY to others? What did the Samaritan do? What did Jesus do? They both poured out something upon others. What can we pour out upon others? Now, you are getting it. That is right. We have the oil and wine of Jesus Christ which is the SWEET ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit. We have the anointing. We can give this precious ointment and sweet savor to others. What is this gift? It is Jesus Christ!

If you really want to show forth MERCY like the Samaritan did, then impart what you have…The Sweet ANOINTING…upon others. Believe me, it will soothe, comfort, heal, refresh, invigorate, and consecrate those in need, especially those that the thief has robbed, stolen from, and tried to destroy. Simply lay your hands upon them and share with them THE SWEET ANOINTING that you have received from the Holy Spirit. I guarantee you that as they respond, they will feel the SWEET honey of the Lord upon their lives.

The Anointing does some things for you. It brings God's ability and power to every Believer. You become dynamite against the evil one and his crowd. You have been given not only the keys to the Kingdom, but also the Kingdom itself. God will withhold nothing from His Children. What good are keys without a Kingdom? What good are car keys without a car? What good are house keys without a house? We have both. The Anointing brings victory over, above, and beyond anything that would try to hinder us in our everyday living. We are mighty warriors and conquerors in His Name. Remember, it is through Him and His Name!

THE SWEET ANOINTING puts the enemy on the defensive and he runs likes a scalded dog in January. He has been OVER‑WHELMINGLY defeated and put to disorderly flight. People cannot stop you. The devils in hell cannot stop you. Circumstances cannot stop you. You are on a roll. Keep on going. Praise the Living God! The Anointing gives you the ability to rule and reign and have dominion over everything that God has made and is still making. You are made in the express image of God. You have His ability! Period!

The Anointing allows you to live the GOOD life. Not long ago, I was flying across the Atlantic Ocean in a 747 Aircraft; the flight attendant brought me a large menu. I decided to have a little Sevruga Caviar, selected Hors d'Oeuvres, Caesar Salad, Roast au Vol, parisienne potatoes, and assorted fruits. Here I was in the middle of the Atlantic at an altitude of 35,000 feet having a perfect, delicious, exquisite dinner with all the trimmings. I thought to myself, "This is the way that every Believer should live." Can you believe it? The menu had a selection of four main dinner choices. Fantastic! Incredible!

The Anointing allows you to take back what the enemy has stolen. Several years ago, while living in West Germany, two business men tried to steal $12,000 from me in a business deal. They already had my money. When I challenged them, they looked me right in the eyeball and laughed in my face. They acted like a couple of vultures after the kill. I had been their “road kill”.

I went to my residence near Worms, Germany and went down to the cellar and prayed. As a matter of fact, I prayed and fasted. The enemy told me almost everyday that the $12,000 was gone...that I would never see it again. He would say things like, “Those weasels have stolen your money. Accept your loss and move one.”

But I said, "No, you don't devil. I am a child God. I am a winner, not a loser. You cannot steal from me. I pay tithes. I give in offerings. And it will be given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. You'll have to pay me back seven times, devil. I am giving up nothing."

This episode went on for eight months. This was war in the Spirit realm. I bombarded the heavenlies on a daily basis. The gates of hell did not prevail. After eight months, the battle was over. Through Jesus Christ I had won. Not only did I get my $12,000 back, but also even more. Listen, that BIG DOPEHEAD, the devil, does not have any sense. He thought he was going to just walk in there and steal from me, but instead, he made me MONEY. You talk about stupid. He is the STUPID one! Truly, the Sweet Anointing made the difference.

THE SWEET ANOINTING is bringing about a change to Planet Earth. Jesus Christ has have already won this war. It is not much of a battle when you know that the war has been won. The momentum of His Kingdom is expanding daily.

GOD is being GLORIFIED. JESUS is being MAGNIFIED.
The HOLY SPIRIT is being INTENSIFIED.
His CHURCH is being EDIFIED.
Preachers and Priests are being HARMONIZED.
The devil is PARALYZED.
SINNERS are being JUSTIFIED.
SAINTS are being PURIFIED.
God has made us Heaven QUALIFIED.

The Army of God is marching! We are marching under THE SWEET ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit. As we march forth:

Our gifts are ACTIVATED in Him.
Our knowledge is ILLUMINATED in Him.
Our words are ADMINISTRATED and ANOINTED in Him.
His Kingdom is EXHILARATED.
His Power is DEMONSTRATED through the Holy Spirit.
As Soldiers, we are INVIGORATED in Him.
THE enemy is EXASPERATED and FRUSTRATED.
The Word of God is ACTUATED.
And His Spirit is mightily OPERATED.
(AMEN)!

THE SWEET ANOINTING brings signs, wonders, miracles, and healings. The world today wants to see miracles and they shall. The Church is a miracle Church. We serve a miracle God. The Bible is a miracle Book. Jesus is a miracle Man. You and I became living miracle lives the moment we accepted Jesus Christ and were born again. We are living miracles. You and I are miracle workers. Every time you assist someone to make a decision for Christ, you are part of that miracle…seeing a lost sinner come to Christ. Because of the ANOINTING, miracles will continue on Planet Earth.

YOU are SOMEBODY with the ANOINTING. Without the Anointing, you are nothing and can do nothing. Your words will be empty unless they are anointed. All Word, we DRY UP...ALL Spirit, We blow UP, But with the WORD and SPIRIT (ANOINTING), We GROW UP.

THE SWEET ANOINTING...HOW SWEET IT IS!

YOU ARE ANOINTED!

Some of you will probably read this chapter and say, "I wonder what this guy is talking about. What does he mean "You are Anointed "?

Most of you have heard the expression "Born to RAISE Hell" in the negative sense. It is our responsibility to turn this around when God places His Sweet Anointing upon our lives. The Anointing will change the word "raise" to "RAZE" in our lives. We are no longer children of darkness, but children of Light. We are no longer children of lack, but children of abundance. We are no longer children tossed to and fro, but children who have a purpose and destiny! We are not longer on our way to hell, but are now guaranteed a home in Heaven!

The word "Raze" means to: destroy, to tear down completely, level to the ground, demolish. We are to pull down strongholds, cast down imaginations, cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor.10:4‑5). We are made in the image of God. We are supposed to act like Jesus. Did Jesus RAZE hell? He did! Now, some of you are thinking, "Tommy, you have gone too far. Where does it say that in the Word? You see, I'm a stickler for the Word of God."

I am so glad you are. And I am glad that you asked that question. The Word says, "...For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that HE MIGHT DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE devil."

Tell me something. What are the works of the devil? Are they not the works of hell? Where does disease come from? Does it not come from the pits of hell? It certainly does not come from Heaven. Where does fear, murder, unbelief, sorcery, adultery, death, lying, cheating, and homosexuality reside? They reside in the devil's territory...in his home (HELL). Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels (Mt.25:41). Even though the enemy and his imps attempt to deliver these packages from hell to men and women around the globe, the righteous ones continue to say "NO". And because we are righteous, it is our job to destroy and demolish the devil's strongholds. YOU and I can literally RAZE or tear down hell on earth. We do not have to put up with lucifer the LOSER's stupid tricks. THE SWEET ANOINTING DESTROYS the YOKE of HELL and BONDAGE!

You were BORN TO RAZE (destroy) HELL. Hell has no authority over you. You have been set free by the POWER of the Living God Who NOW lives within you. The devil is NO MATCH for YOU. You have more power in your little fingernail than all of his power combined. I have GOOD NEWS for you. The chief LOSER has no power! My elder Brother (Jesus) stripped him of all his power and authority and left him paralyzed in his own home...right in his living room. You and God are a majority. Nothing shall by any means hurt you (Lk. 10:19). You are heaven bound on the King's Highway. You can chase a thousand devils. Two of you can chase ten thousand. As I told you before, the enemy is in BIG trouble.

Someone said, "Satan is alive and well."

I have GOOD NEWS for you on planet earth. The devil is not well...he is dead in our LIVES. He is losing ground and will soon be cast into hell...and later into the lake of fire FOREVER. Anybody who lost the war 2000 years ago and is still trying to lift his UGLY head…is SICK and weak.

The enemy will come against you one way, and flee before you seven ways (Deut.28:7). When you are dressed up in your spiritual armor, the imps of satan do not know you from Jesus Christ. "No weapon that is formed against YOU shall prosper..." (Is.54). God is for YOU...He is on your side (Ps.56:9, 118:6). Now, you can go forth and CHARGE through the land with your sword and shield demolishing hell's gates and the works of the devil.

Some people pride themselves upon being different and unique. They never copy anybody. Well, I do. I try to copy Jesus. What He did 2000 years ago, I want to do TODAY. Don't YOU? Jesus is alive in us. We have the real answers to society. It is Jesus.

THE SWEET ANOINTING gives you the God given right to rule, govern, control, and stamp on the devil's head, and have dominion over every circumstance of life. "Where the word of a king is, there is POWER" (Ec.8:4). "...All things are yours" (1 Cor.3).

Several years ago, I was teaching in Long Branch, New Jersey. A sweet lady came up to me after church with tears in her eyes and said, "Brother Tommy, I just don't know what to do. I have done everything, but nothing seems to work. Our next door neighbors are cursing at us. They call us names. They throw rocks at our house. They harass us. I honestly do not know what to do. I am just a spiritual mess."

As she spoke, THE SWEET ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit came upon me. I said, "According to Matthew 18:19, it says if any two of us shall agree on earth as touching any thing that we shall ask, it shall be done for us through the Father which is in heaven. Now, take my hand. We are going to agree together."

I took her hand and began to pray...then I spoke these words. I still remember it as if it were yesterday. I said, "Those people will either have to accept Jesus Christ or move out. We refuse to put up with this nonsense and poppycock any longer. A change will come. We take authority over this situation right now in the Name of Jesus. Get ready. It will happen."

A couple of weeks later when I returned to that church, this same lady came running up to me and shouted, "Brother Tommy, it worked. Last week, the police came and evicted them and threw them out. The authorities also threw their furniture out in the street and forced them to move. It happened so quickly. It was a miracle…just like you said."

God wants you to live peaceably with all men, if at all possible (Rom.12:18). What happens if it is not possible? Do you roll over and play dead? Does God want you to be used as a door mat? NO, NO, NO. You were born to raze hell...to destroy the works of the enemy. You control your circumstances. You control your destiny through Jesus Christ. You determine your success. Harassment, irritation, torment, and attacks are ugly devices of the lamebrain, satan. Destroy his attacks through Jesus Christ. You do not have to put up with the devil or his crowd.

Some religious Pharisees will say, "But we are still on this earth. Things are just going to get worse and worse. We will do good just to keep our own selves saved. We are no match for the devil! He has been here a long, long time. I mean, I just don’t think that this “faith and power thing” is going to work. What do you want us to do...act like Jesus?"

Now, you are getting the BIG picture. Did Jesus put up with a bunch of nonsense? Did Paul? Did Peter? Did John? Did Stephen? Does the Holy Spirit? No!

You are a combat soldier in the Lord's Army. Soldiers march. Soldiers fight. Soldiers obey commands. Soldiers give commands. Soldiers win in God's Army. There are no losers.

Born to Raze (Destroy) Hell
By Tommy Franks

You may be big; you may be small.
You may be short; you may be tall.
But if you know that wonderful Name,
You can pray and shout and be a flame
Because you have the authority and power
To tear down the gates of hell during this hour.

The enemy looks at you half crazed;
He sees you laugh and becomes enraged.
You look at him and know that he is a bluff.
You speak the WORD and he disappears in a puff.
You KNOW now that you were born to raze (destroy) hell,
You take the keys and cast the FOOL in jail!

THE SWEET ANOINTING gives you the right to destroy hell. You are now ready to perform the miraculous. You are now ready to pray and heal the sick in Jesus' Name. You are now ready to cast out devils. You are now ready to bring heaven to earth. A special friend one time…gave me two important words of encouragement. The words were very simple, "Do it". I now give you these words, "Do it". Go forth and act on God's Word. Act on your faith. Be bold as a lion and "do it".

RAZE or tear down the gates of hell and YOU will feel better, BELIEVE ME. The Anointed One (Jesus) indeed destroys the yoke. Through Him, you can too! You were born for such a time as this. Pray this prayer with me now: "Father God, grant me the SWEET ANOINTING that You have...that Jesus has...that the Holy Spirit has. Pour Your fresh oil and sweet wine into my heart and spirit. I accept your Anointing and I will go forth and destroy the yoke of bondage in this world and on Your people. I am Anointed with the SWEET ANOINTING. Thank you Father in Jesus' Name."

I am excited! What do we do now? We take this Sweet Anointing that is upon our lives and bless OTHERS. The more of the Sweet Anointing that we give away, the more we will have. The Anointing grows and increases as we respond to the call of God upon our lives. We cannot be stingy with our blessings. We must give them away. The windows of Heaven are open. Blessings are being poured out upon us until soon we will not have room enough to receive them. When we run out of room, what do we do? We find someone and give them the blessings because we are full and running over. This is how the ANOINTING works and flows. The more we give away, the stronger it gets.

This principle works in all areas of your life. If you want love, give it away. If you want money, give it away. If you want respect, respect others. If you want more of the Power of Jesus in your life, use the power you have right now in helping others. If you plant seeds of faith, a harvest of faith will be returned to you. If you want healing, get someone healed. If you want the Sweet Anointing...a double Anointing...the OIL and WINE of the Holy Spirit, USE WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.

Mountains will fall before you. Devils will shriek, scream, and bow before you. You are the spiritual GIANT now. The enemy is the grasshopper. No force on earth can stop you. You are invincible through Jesus Christ as a mighty conqueror with the Anointing of Jesus upon your life. You have the dynamic ability of God. You have the compassion of Jesus. You are bone of His Bone, flesh of His Flesh, body of His Body...and His Blood flows in your veins. You have the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit. You are indeed READY for warfare and combat duty. And you know something else; it is not much of a battle when you know that you have already won! The Sweet Anointing is indeed sweet to all who will receive it. Thanks be to God. AMEN!
